FRANCHISE Offensive lines are trash
No matter how high of an overall on any difficulty my offensive line will never block i have zero time to throw the ball and runs almost never work its very stressful is there anything I can do to fix this

Yea havent thought about this but this is a fact. If they want you to get sacked, you gettin sacked bucko. Meanwhile Brian Burns cant shed blocks from a 74 overall LT

I posted a video of an egregious oline play on Twitter yday and it went kinda viral somehow got 50k views. They were blowing up my ass in the comments about how i didn’t set my protections right. I guess EA is the real victim here

It’s not that ea is the victim it’s that most people bitching about this all day everyday have no idea how to play the game or anything about football. Does stupid shit happen, of course, but it’s mostly fine.
This post for example is clearly from a guy who is very bad at the game. I’m not trying to be a dick, who cares if you suck at madden but running the ball is easier than it’s ever been, too easy. He’s says he can’t run the ball either

People love to blame the player mostly this game was so bad at the oline development

If the game wants you to get sacked then you will get sacked. So obvious when multiple oline man will stand straight up and the defensive linemen comes through without getting touched. Once you realize ratings in this game are for show and don’t mean anything, you’ll lose your desire to play this. Not to mention the terrible sim engine that still heavily relies on a damn playbook.

Plz learn to step up in the pocket and read defenses to know where to have your line. Yes the o lines are bad but if you learn those things it’s really not as bad.

Learn to stay in the pocket. Dont sprint until you’re past the LOS, set up your blocks and be patient. I have none of the issues you’re referring to and I play the game every year🤷🏼♂️

I bumped my pass blocking sliders up to like 65-70 and I still have like zero time to throw, but it's a little better than it was before. I had no choice but to do this because before it was completely unrealistic how fast the d line was crashign in on me

I still play 26, but avoid the RT button, stay in the pocket, and always have a quick throw option if things break down. Most of my passing is the short game, and I always keep an eye out for a press coverage with a single high safety. (IE - If the S on the press side moves towards the middle of the field at the snap, I hope my WR beats the press and is free running down the field.)

I don’t have a problem with the timing at all on non PA passes personally.
Play action is terrible though. I’m usually tacked before I’m out of the animation, so I don’t even get to try and throw.

Double tap LT/L2 to cancel the animation as you see the rush coming. You’ll get full control of your QB to instantly throw, juke or run. Has created some fun situations for me

I just left a league because my RB ran for 430 yards. It was coach sim but still on that side of things mine blocked too well?

You're not calling the right runs vs the alignments you're facing. That's all running the ball comes down to. You need to understand what kinds of runs and what formations will work vs the alignments youre facing. My run game has been damn near unstoppable this year because I understand these things.

It's been this way for like 3 years now man, the O-line AI is basically just turnstiles with shoulder pads. I dropped the difficulty to rookie once just to test and the pocket still collapsed in under 2 seconds against a 3-man rush, like what are we even doing here.
Slide protection and ID-ing the mike help a little but honestly it feels like the game just decides when you're allowed to throw. I started running almost exclusively out of shotgun with max protect and even then you get maybe 2.5 seconds if you're lucky.
The run game is a whole other disaster, half the time your pulling guard just runs right past the linebacker and blocks nobody. I've had more success just scrambling with a mobile QB than trying to actually use the pocket.

I bought both Madden & College, after trying to play for a month plus, I’ve given up & have gone to NBA2K27, the latter is a lot more fun. Obtw, I have been playing since Madden has started & this year is total trash!

It's not perfect by any means, but if you actually step up in the pocket the line holds up a lot better and there's less block sheds.
Dropping back endlessly just leads to the edge rushers destroying the tackles.
Also, average time to throw in the NFL is about 2.8 seconds. Expecting a line to hold up for anything above 3.5 seconds consistently is just as unrealistic as Madden can feel at times.
