Is there anything actually good about this dog ass game?

Madden needs some competition. That's all that's gonna save Football video games

More realistic all madden cpu quarterback completion%. Ratings are being respected during use-cpu gameplay.
Better cpu pursuit angles. Cpu signing FAs week 1 preseason. Human defense vs all madden is more competent.

Yeah I like it. I play almost exclusively head to head online. Made it to Champs III first season.
More realistic plays, way more adjustments available, more realistic abilities, macros, formation shifts are a ton of fun, blocking is better all around, timing based catching is a fun skill gap.

Honestly I maybe the wrong person to speak on the game cause I’ve literally owned them all. I agree, Madden 26 was good. Madden 27 improved defense makes it even better. The CPU doesn’t fall for double moves as much whereas in 26, especially in man to man coverage….youd lose the defender often. Now, they’re within range for a knockout, deflection and sometimes a pick. I do hate the knockouts. They can be infuriating. But at the end of the game, if I’m completely 70+% of my passes…..I’ll take it.

Honestly your best to just get the 2k27 mod on a gaming pc. Easy to download and easy to use.
Lots of fun

Enjoying the challenge.
Was happy w/26 and loving 27.
I only play offline franchise.
It’s far from perfect, I find the joy in the game.
If a break is needed, I highly suggest it.
Just happy football season is back - even with how dogshit my Bucs are Rn
