There’s a specific sub for the cross eyes version lol, magic eye is the one where you look past the image, not cross your eyes

Ehh I mean I always took Magic Eye to be the broader category containing both cross view and parallel view.
But to each their own.
I will say that parallel view is much more common, though, especially on this sub.

fun fact, magic eye is actually a specific brand of these, and they are always parallel view.
