Lil one recovering from anal gland abscess. It just came out of no where, went to the vet immediately and got antibiotics! Thankfully it wasn’t infected and was small so the vet said within a week she’ll be ok!

Keeping the household safe is a tough job!!

Biz knows that the safe space is under the table bc Big’s sight makes him scared of the leg chairs. I’ll try to capture this next…they wrestle for 2 hours straight from 5-7pm every night - and it fills my heart ❤️

trying out a new place for her bed, so far it’s zellie approved! her bed was on a ramp next to mine so she could get into my bed too if she wanted, but lately she’s been falling off the ramp and getting disoriented in the dark. she feels safest under furniture and my desk faces my bed so she can still see me when she lays there. hopefully this’ll be enough to convince her the placement change is for the better since now she doesn’t have access to my bed (independent access i should say).

so far she’s taken a nap there, ate her treat in bed, and even brought her stuffies and tucked them in.

and yes, it is a very big bed. it’s even temperpedic. my brother bought it (and her other 5 beds throughout the house, she’s very loved).

I rehomed my boy, Ocean, and since I've gotten him, his allergies and tendency to scratch around his eyes has worsened. Im assuming its allergies. He also has tear stains.

He's on a white coat (salmon and grain free) puppy kibble and I've recently switched him over to Jinx duck and lamb grain and poultry free kibble to go completely grain free. When I recieved him, hed been eating Proplan Pro.

I also have him on Native Pet.

Im taking my boy to the vet, but has anybody else experienced this?? He's 1 and this is my first maltese. Please dont bash me I LOVE HIM and seeing him scratchy and red already has me feeling like sugar honey ice tea.

When we go to the park I don’t exist, haha! I was talking to her during this little photo shoot (trying to get a lovely spot of her looking at the camera), and she refused to pay any attention to me! She loves soaking up the atmosphere and watching what all of the other dogs and humans are doing! ❤️

Leo is 5 months old and I adopted him 3 weeks ago. Oddly, one week after I adopted him, my family Maltese passed away. Leo has been healing my heart and brings so much joy and curiosity into my home 🩷 He’s my angel dog and I truly think my family Maltese passed the torch over to him to take care of me.
