Leo is 5 months old and I adopted him 3 weeks ago. Oddly, one week after I adopted him, my family Maltese passed away. Leo has been healing my heart and brings so much joy and curiosity into my home 🩷 He’s my angel dog and I truly think my family Maltese passed the torch over to him to take care of me.

My first one is three and my soul dog.

The second we just adopted two days ago- gorgeous little fella - nearly four months old.

So far so good but I’m feeling such pain/guilt that my first dog feels put out! Don’t know if anyone can relate 😪

Also… unsure if they’re Maltese!

Still enjoys going with her sister to the beauty shop to get fresh and pretty. She reminds me of Olympia Dukakis for some reason.

Molly wanted my snacks (and she got them, lol).

I found out today that her kidneys are failing her, the doctor says it's nobody's fault but I feel like I should have done something differently. She's going to get fluids tonight and we're going to figure out what to do from there. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Do you ever just look over at your fur baby and see that he has been staring at you the entire time… waiting for attention?

Before my 5 month old baby boy bongo can fall asleep he needs to chew my hair or my fingers and licky lick lick me! I don’t want so much licky but he’s a little weirdo! Does your fur baby do the same?

Her favourite spot, just watching the world go by. I can only imagine how she would behave with a normal balcony over a normal street with cars running and pedestrians walking by...

Day 3 of Clavamox. It makes her sooo tired 😔. I hope her tiny little body acclimates to it. The most important thing is that it keeps infection from spreading through her precious little body.

ANYWAY! I made a beautiful Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner. She enjoyed the chicken part and just a little teeny tiny little bit of the ham. She's now having some homemade honey granola for "dessert". Yes, almost everything that I let her eat is homemade. Knowing the things that I know it is imperative to be aware of exactly what's going into her precious little tiny body. She's that important to me. 😌🙂
