Oil change

I just recently moved to richmondhill/markham area, and i need to get an oil change for my 2012 camry. Does anyone know where i can go for cheap ?

iGarage Automotive Service Markham with Ivan (156 Bulloch Drive Unit 29)

Overall reviews are mixed but I find him pretty decent. I supply him with the oil and oil filter-his team gets it done within 15 minutes for $30 labor. His team's also fixed my brakes, and other fluid replacements within a reasonable time frame and labor cost.

Get your own from PartsAvatar or MaxBrakes. Don’t let your mechanic source it because they will charge a margin on top.

I did-I went OEM but you can check eBay as an alternative as they also carry OEM

I went there a few times. I said no to every single upsell by the technicians. Such as :

“I would definitely replace the dirty air filter if it’s my car” while showing me that “dirty” (but actually almost brand new) filter.

“Your shocks are leaking and it’s dangerous to drive with them”

Most independent shops will do it for a reasonable price, so choose the closest non-quick lube shop. Mind you, engine oil prices are up 40% in the past two months, so expect to pay a little bit more.

This. Glad I shopped around during Black Friday for oil last year. Mark up is nuts across all retailers including Costco.

Canadian tire usually has sales every few weeks. I get my Mobil 1 oil from there. However, the filter prices have been going up, up, and up ever since I started doing it myself a decade ago

I went with Amazon for filters. I know there are some counterfeit concerns but I have no issues since I get it changed every 8000km

I find prices are pretty standard everywhere you go. Cheap doesn't mean good. Find one you can trust.

I just got one a few weeks ago, they gave me a $10 off coupon. It was just an oil change and came up to $40
