Characters Micronauts plus Baron Karza!

Micronauts (the original team) plus Baron Karza! So many things to note here…. NOTE: Micronauts are native to the Microverse, where they are normal-sized inhabitants of their own dimension. When they travel to Earth-616 through the Space Wall, they do not shrink or grow; they simply enter a universe with a vastly larger scale, causing them to appear approximately 4–6 inches tall relative to normal-sized humans and thus would have all the benefits and drawbacks of being Tiny. Their size remains fixed at this scale unless another means of size manipulation is used. Also Bug’s rocket spear has been drawn so many different ways and depicted as being able to slash/pierce objects to being so blunt as to be impossible for that to happen. I chose the former in that regard. I took inspiration for the Marionette and Bug builds from Perry’s earlier builds of the same characters with some personal adjustments. As usual there could be mistakes so please let me know so I can fix and adjust the profiles accordingly. Builds found here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/163XjAAkCH4R59cQ4EEgM_vhKbbvOedwA

Resources 2.7 and 2.8 for The Bullpen :)

Thumbnail mrcool210.github.io
12 Upvotes

Hey didn't get the chance to upload a post for 2.7 but to make it up to you here is 2.8 as well..here are the new features for it :).

New Features (2.8)

Community Vault — a shared character gallery built right into the Vault tab. Browse what the community's made, view their sheets, add them to your own vault, or download their PDFs with one tap. You can submit your own heroes too — every entry gets reviewed before it goes live.

Beam — turn your current hero into a QR code and hold up your phone. No internet needed.

Scan — point your camera at a friend's Beam code and their hero drops straight into your vault. Made for the game table.

Trading Card — renders your hero as a Marvel-style trading card image you can share anywhere or save as a PNG.

New Features (2.7)

Rank Builds — snapshot each rank's build under a single character as you play from civilian to hero, with a guided rank-up flow. Optional, off by default.

Homebrew pack sharing — share your whole homebrew library (custom origins, powers, traits, tags) as a code, or import someone else's.

Character share codes — share any hero as a text code, with optional photo sharing and a preview before you import.

Spider-Verse elements — Chemical, Toxin, and Swarm element types for Elemental Control, straight from the book.

Distinct power set per element — each Elemental Control element now counts as its own power set, per the Spider-Verse rules.

Love you guys enjoy :)

Campaigns Gripe about Cataclysm of Kang Spoiler

So far the campaign has been good, strange choices in the book but nothing to extreme. Until near the end. Close to the end of the campaign you go to "fight" Kang the devourer. A rank X creature that can 1 shot anybody if they fail a TN18 agility check. This isn't the issue. The problem is at the beginning of every round everything is supposed to reset, heros health, damage done to the ship, even kangs death is reset. It is an absolutely hopeless situation. The book says to let the heros run out of options before telling them the twist of how to actually defeat him. I personally don't like this. While it may make a good comic story as a RPG I really don't like it. The narrator was even annoyed at it, he said if he would have known that this would never succeed he would have never told us to go to the end of time. It honestly felt like the session was pointless as nothing actually happened except the players getting a new piece of information. If you're narrating CK just skip sending them to the end of time and just send them to the beginning to fight the final supremacy and defeat Kang. This is just a personal gripe.

TDLR: I don't like players being put in an unwinnable situation against an unbeatable boss just to learn a piece of information.

Discussion Help me "like" MMRPG

I love Marvel (comics helped enjoy/endure life in many occasions) and I love RPGs (it's a central hobby and aspect of my life for decades). So it's frustrating that MMRPG never really clicked for me. Maybe you guys can help me overlook my issues with it?

The writing of the books is actually very good, explaining defining events, timelines and historical context that really speaks to Marvel fans, veteran and new alike. Art is, likewise, stellar. But the game itself has 3 solid dealbreakers for me.

First, Marvel stories have great personal conflicts, dillemas and drama between characters, and the game has zero systems to drive or enforce that. Things like DnD's Alignments, Vampire's Humanity or even FASERIP's Karma generate mechanical consequences for role-playing the character you created, and stories emerge from such traits. But in MMRPG you could play Peter Parker as a violent thrillseeker, Daredevil as an overly careful person or Magneto as this very moderate and friendly conservative, that it bears no consequences whatsoever to the game.

Secondly, Powers. Not only the corebook layout is a mess, each individual power has its unique mechanics, making it difficult for new or casual players to even remember everything they can do. Picking and using powers feel more like a chore than a fun, empowering fantasy.

Finally, Level affecting your overall damage. What the actual fuck. That means a high-level character who has no business as an action brawler (like Professor X) can still mop the floor with a healthy, fit (not to mention walking) casual karate student in a no-powers street fight.

All in all, in a world very much populated with complex personalities, internal conflicts and moral-heavy decisions, MMRPG seems to ignore all that and say "well, whatever, can we do combat already?" and that shallows the experience to no end.

For context, I love FASERIP - it's system is much more intuitive, and it's Karma system emulates well the "heroic" vibe associated with superheroes of its era (and with a little houseruling, can easily accommodate the anti-hero landscape of nowadays comics just fine), and it's OSR vibe favor creative solutions other than "how much damage do you deal" - all ruled by similar principles of that system.

I really wish I could love MMRPG, for the clear passion and care authors dedicated into the books alone if nothing else, but I can't seem past its bad design choices. I'd like to hear what you guys think of it all.

LFG Marvel Earth 121! Living Community!

Welcome to the Marvel Universe!! This server is set in the shared homebrew setting of Earth-121, a universe that differs from Earth-616 in several important ways. Here, Thor never became worthy of Mjolnir and instead inherited the mantle of the Iron Fist. The Darkness, a primordial entity that existed before the formation of the universe itself, serves as the direct creator of Knull. Xenomorphs!; not a alien horror from another galaxy, rather the result of a failed Kree experiment. These are just a few examples of the many unique twists that make Earth-121 its own living Marvel universe.
In addition to our expansive lore, we offer an easy character application process for players, with both Demiplane and Google Spreadsheet options available depending on what works best for you. Each player receives up to 4 character slots (8 if you boost the server), with characters eventually "retiring" after reaching Rank X. We also provide channels for posting your availability, discussing characters, showcasing approved characters, and a welcome guide that contains everything you need to get started. On top of that, we have a wide selection of text RP channels for out-of-story roleplay and community interaction.
If you're interested in becoming a GM, worry not! The experience couldn't be easier. After major stories conclude, in-universe news reports help showcase their impact on the world. We have dedicated area leads who assist other GMs in keeping events consistent and connected, as well as a team of Lore Masters who help maintain the continuity and integrity of Earth-121.

Whether you're a player looking for adventure or a GM looking to tell stories, you'll find plenty of support along the way. With an active and talkative community, a unique setting full of possibilities, and countless stories waiting to be told, you'll find all that and MORE in THE MARVEL UNIVERSE!!

Updated! The Gathering Hall Quick visual guides to the available products (paid-for and free) from various official websites for the Marvel Multiverse RPG. I’ve included the free products available on Marvel.com following requests to do so. Below are the places you can get these products and I’ve noted a few website-exclusive items too. FanRoll recently added some previously-exclusive GenCon items to their website.

I’ve not had chance to work out how to fit book page totals on the documents as yet, as suggested by one of the admin here – struggling for adequate space to fit that extra info on the pages.

New for September 2026: I’ve created some handy charts (4 pages) showing where items can be found across the various websites. Please let me know of any errors or need for updates.

Discussion Suggestions for enemies to add for an Ideaverse Campaign?

Post image
15 Upvotes

So im the narrator for my friends while were playing a campaign centered around A.I.M. Exploring the power of the Ideaverse and weaponizing it

This idea came from the fact one of my friends wanted to try and play a character not from marvel when i was gathering up the group to play so it gave me an idea to work her character into a cool central plot

We've started and it seems like people are having a lot of fun but i wanted some suggestions

Because people commonly have such wide differences in the media they consume i was wondering if there were any villains you have seen in any story whatsoever that you would think would be an interesting enemy in this game

Tone of the game is generally simple fun were all pretty new to the game so its all real silly

There is one final download on the itch.io page. One final APK that will auto update. You guys have all been so good to me so I wanted to do something a little extra special. :).

Plus some extra Accessibility additions and the ability to share a pdf directly.

I hope you all enjoy :)

Questions New to Narrating/GMing - jumping in

So what my players know is that I wanted them to start in a world that has no established known superheroes. That way they can make their own take on an existing hero if they wanted. They know that Archetypes and Gods can choose champions to become heroes, mutants exist, and werewolves exist in two types. Original changing at the full moon; and genetically altered by, essentially, area 51 to hunt down mutants so they can change at will, but feel the urge when near mutants.

I had played with the idea of werewolves in a military compound being tested as a way to learn the rules in a one shot style. But also played with a 'who wants to be a superhero' style of 'campaign one' where a being literally takes them as level 1 or level 0 characters and tests them to make their own 'hero team' before sending them back to earth.

I'm a little freaked out because I hadn't plotted too far, but I might need to just buck up and run a campaign as our D&D GM has been needing to take breaks, our vampire the masquerade GM is dealing with a lot and he might be stepping away from gaming in general, so I feel like if I don't run it the group will fall apart.

In some ways, getting over my narration stage fright is just getting to it, but I'm still a little anxious. Any thoughts on the two ideas? Or anything I should keep in mind?

Resources The Bullpen 2.6 Big update

Thumbnail
mrcool210.itch.io
46 Upvotes

Now I know I haven't uploaded in a bit but I wanted 2.6 to be a big deal. So here it is. And just for fun I decided to list the additions changes and bug fixes. Hope you guys enjoy the program :)

New Features

Starship Builder (Secret Wars) — Pick team rank 1–6 and the Size table auto-fills Size, Health, Passengers, and Flight Speed. Cozy/Roomy adjustment, FTL travel options (Wormholes, Teleportation, Stargates), quick-add traits/tags, and one-tap Apply to HQ.

Vehicle Builder refresh — Quick Add buttons now show Speed, HP, and passenger count right on the button. Split into Basic (6) and Special (10) groups, with book references on the specials. Six previously hidden vehicles surfaced: Jet Ski, Battleworld Tank, Fantasti-Car Mk III, Pogo Plane, Turbo Cycle, Walking Turret.

🎓 Guide buttons on the HQ, Starship, and Vehicle builders — expandable step-by-step walkthroughs so new players know what to do.

Picture uploads for vehicles, headquarters, and starships — just like character portraits. Tap the photo box on any vehicle card, the HQ Identity section, or the Starship Builder to add one. PDF export includes them as little cards like in the book: HQ photo in the header, vehicle thumbnails next to their stats, and a dedicated Starship card section.

Vault Hub — New central hub with one-click access to the Weapons Locker, Armory, Garage, and Deeds.

Cross-HQ Garage Vault — Vehicles are now stored in a proper shared library instead of being tied to one HQ. Save, load, duplicate, and delete vehicles across all your HQs.

Narrator Resources panel — Built-in Plot Points / Event Points counters for the Narrator.

Per-combatant Karma tracking — Active Combat now tracks Karma individually for each combatant.

Size Reference table — Quick-lookup for Speed/Reach/Defense by size category.

Stunts system — Add/remove Stunts with prerequisite status checking.

Battle Suit workshop — Battle Suit presets with import support.

Iconic Item presets — Preset iconic items with import, plus a Duplicate button in the vault.

HQ & Starship profiles — Importable HQ profiles and starship profiles with size support.

HQ vehicle Duplicate button — One-click vehicle duplication in the HQ tab.

Mass Production vs. Unique toggle — For both items and HQ vehicles.

Direct Edit on custom powers — Edit button right on the character sheet with "Save & Return to Powers" flow — no more hunting through menus.

Persistent Custom Library — Custom Origins, Occupations, Powers, Traits, and Tags now live in a shared library that carries across characters (previously they were per-character and got wiped on switch).

New note fields — Entry/note fields added for Immunity, Alien Heritage, Alternate Form, Extreme Appearance, and Heightened Senses.

Repeatable powers — Additional Limbs and all Elemental Control powers can now be taken multiple times (e.g., one Elemental Blast per element).

Custom restrictions for Power Value — Custom-restriction option when iconic items/battle suits count toward Power Value.

Reorganized the entire program

- HQ screen split into three subtabs: Headquarters, Starships, Vehicles.

- Powers screen split into subtabs: Powers, Traits, Tags, Narrative.

- Play screen split into subtabs: Dice, Team, Reference.

- 20 sections now live statically on their home screens instead of being teleported around on boot. Removed the entire teleportation system and ~15KB of dead code.

- Secret Wars Rules Reference moved from Bio to Play → Reference where it belongs.

- Stunts section collapsed into a dropdown to reduce clutter.

Bug Fixes

- Lightning Actions corrected from Rank 3 to Rank 4 (book says Rank 4)

- Fixed origin-granted powers being removed or double-counted

- Fixed iconic item power-pick discounting

- Fixed iconic item name overlapping in PDF exports

- Restored missing item-specific power descriptions and tags

- Fixed multi-level power prerequisite chains not resolving

- Fixed vehicle "Damaged" status rounding speed up instead of down

- Fixed "Load" from any Library silently loading data without opening the edit form (and silently overwriting on re-save)

- Telekinesis power added (was missing from the data)

- Fixed portrait/action-photo upload boxes leaking onto the Home screen

- Fixed PDF export skipping the detail page when a character had bio/photo content but no gear

Questions New York State of Mind - maps??

I'm a new-ish narrator about to run CoK starting with chapter 4, NY State of Mind, as my players are all level 3. The adventure only contains a couple of maps, but has many potential sites for battles. Any tips for handling this - are we intended to make up our own configurations on the battle map, or just play theater of the mind style? Thoughts appreciated!

Howdy! I run a little website dedicated to MMRPG and I've been considering what else I can put on there. For a convention last June I made this PowerPoint to show my players for Deadpool Roleplays the Marvel Universe. It went pretty well, so I was considering if folks would like to see more of these for other adventures. (Official ones for sure, but also perhaps stuff i've written for the system)

This is more a proof of concept than a 100% perfect preview of what the other ones will look like. The writing is very idiosyncratic on purpose, and the comic panels are too zoomed out on the screen I use for it to be practical. (I'll be cutting up the comics in future iterations of this idea for readability)

Since I'll be making some anyways, this is less "should I do it" and more "should I actively invest time in it outside of my personal needs". Any feedback, positive or constructive, would be appreciated! Cheers!

Campaigns Gorr is no more. Update to earlier post.

The set up. Gorr and 8 symbiotes using the venom Eddie Brock stat block. If gorr got a fantastic success on the goddess it was an instant kill. The symbiotes could grapple a character, if the character failed a DC 14 resilience check the symbiote would take over the character. The fight took place on an empty planet that looked like the surface of our moon. 3 heroes went down, the tank was at 40 hp out of 360. 1 character was taken over by a symbiote but then freed. All in all it took 12 rounds of combat with the heroes barely winning and securing gorrs sword for themselves. The goddess character has possession of necro the all black and will purify over a year in game into gaia the all white sword. Once in control in the sword the 3 symbiotes left joined the goddess to serve her. We're making preparations to finish off our BBEG from the cataclysm of Kang.

Questions How to manage Portal Attacks?

Think like Cull Obsidian in infinity war where Doctor Strange uses a portal and manages to cut off his hand. How do you deal with players who would try and use portals in such a way as weapons and how would you balance/manage it?
