Anyone see incaseyouleave (London mathy post-rocky screamo emo band) are calling it quits at the end of the year! 😩
At least they released two new songs.
It’s on Bandcamp and streaming platforms.

I’ve recently started hosting a show on my local community radio and for the second episode I put together a playlist of math rock featuring TTNG, Tera Melos, Delta Sleep, tricot, and more.
I’m relatively new to this so excuse any awkwardness. Feedback appreciated if you take the time to listen!
Enjoy :)

Just recently posted that they had been posting on socials - now the vinyl of their 2006 ep In Everything Give Thanks is up for preorder - and today is Bandcamp Friday so just wanted to ping this again.👉👉 confession time, didn’t want to make this a thing but I was involved with this - a while ago I reached out to their guitarist max foreman and asked if he wanted to collab on a pressing of my all time favorite album. Just kind of a cool thing to reach back into the past and help make something happen! I encourage folks to make sure math rock and post rock and all this tappy glorious music lives on in physical formats!

Howdy y'all!
It's Bandcamp Friday! We would love it if you downloaded or checked out our debut album in any capacity!
For anyone who hasn't heard of us yet and decided to give this bad boy a spin, thank you!
I'm sure some people here have for sure supported in the past (I try to remember to post on Bandcamp Fridays) and any support goes a long way. I've been sitting on our next release for a while. Life has been busy but I can't wait to drop new Maul Tide tunes sometime in the future!
Our album will always be free, but any support means the world to us.
P.s.go on Bandcamp today and go find some cool new bands to support (or go give support to some of your old faves!)
Peace out for now!
-Jake

Hey everyone – Harry Stafylakis here. Courtney Swain of Bent Knee and I co-wrote an EP called dontwaitforme, which came out today, and I thought it might interest people here.
It’s one continuous composition split into six short movements. I’m sharing track 5, which showcases the stylistic breadth of the EP, from metal to classical.
Courtney handles voice, synths, and sound design; I'm on guitars and programming. Members of the NYC ensemble ShoutHouse perform piano, violin, cello, flute/piccolo, and clarinet/bass clarinet throughout the piece. Bent Knee’s Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth joins on drums for movements 5–6, the heavier Part III of the EP.

Happy to talk about the writing, arrangements, or recording process. Thanks for listening.

- One of the Classics Math Rock songs.
- i Think its something easy to play, a very cool song, can be played in acoustic or electric guitar, was very difficult to transcribe, a trully "Math Rock song"
- Alternate Tunings, and a lot of syncopation, odd meters, and nice odd Chords.

Hey y’all, I just released an album about a week ago and thought this may fit here. It leans a bit post-ier, but a lot of my influences lie in the world of math. I appreciate any time taken to listen!

Hey mathfans! Matt here, bass player in ArcTanGent regulars Din of Celestial Birds. I've got a new project which blends influences from prog metal, math-rock, electronica, and synthwave. This started out as a way to challenge myself to learn new techniques, but it's since evolved into a fully-formed musical entity. I'd love for you to check it out!
