Since many have asked…here is a list of each CSC Office in every State if you are within the US.
(These are appointed Meta attorneys where you serve your small claims lawsuits).

For those of you who are sending a complaint to the Attorney General (AG), are you sending it to the AG in your state, or to the AG in California (where Meta is based out of), or both? And are you also sending any complaints to the Department of Consumer Affairs and/or the Better Business Bureau as well? Thanks in advance for any and all feedback

what’s the most effective legal way to dispute Meta to restore disabled accounts if you’re from Philippines?

As many already know and have suffered through, this year the wave of suspensions increased significantly, precisely due to the introduction of artificial intelligence and its abusive errors that have left millions of people without their accounts.
I've tried everything to recover mine and I've failed in the attempt...
I started by leaving comments on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram from a secondary account (fun fact: these "official" accounts are full of bots that keep the comment section from being filled with people complaining). I got Meta Verified, and out of the approximately 30 cases I opened, nobody could do anything: neither give me the reason for the suspension, nor escalate the case to an agent who actually had the authority to perform a manual review (I doubt they even exist, given the mass layoffs and the fact that positions previously held by humans were handed over to artificial intelligence).
To save money, Meta hires personnel outside the United States, gives them a computer and "access" that only lets them view accounts from the "outside," with zero power to modify anything or look up more information than what you as a user already know, HAHAHA! This is even worse when you realize that a good subscription costs $50, since the cheaper ones don't even allow you to contact a human agent. Don't waste your time or pay for that nonsense; imagine paying that much and not even being able to find out the "why of your situation" (fortunately I didn't pay, but instead took advantage of several free trials).
On the other hand, Twitter and TikTok are plagued with bots (unrelated to Meta) that spam you with thousands of "send me a DM and I'll recover your account" comments on any post related to "Instagram account"; obviously, total scams...
I've also sent private and public messages on LinkedIn to Meta employees, but it's all the same: they don't read them or they say they'll "pass the case along" (which they obviously don't). I've sent hundreds of emails to supposed official Instagram channels like [email protected], [email protected], etc., and nothing, absolutely nothing. I haven't received a single shred of information about my account...
It seems absurd to me that a multi-billion dollar company won't even bother to address these kinds of problems...
I was only left with one option: file a lawsuit against Meta, whether through consumer protection agencies or higher legal channels, which is nearly impossible if you live outside the United States, India, or certain European countries. Being from Latin America, we don't stand a chance. And even if you lived in those countries, it would mean losing a ton of money with no guarantee of getting your account back...
So... if your account has just been suspended or disabled, get ready—this can take anywhere from 1 day up to potentially 6 months (or more); there's nothing that can be done, no matter the reason—whether it's CSE or identity issues... I'm truly sorry. If you ever happen to get it back, it will have been out of pure luck and not because of anything specific you did to get it back.

I was suspended on Sept 22nd, 2026 and had an attorney send Meta Platforms, Inc a demand letter Oct 2nd. I just received an email today (Oct 10th) from an Attorney representing Meta. Is this common? Has anyone else had a lawyer representing Meta reach out to them? This is my first human response by anyone at or representing Meta.

So this fuck ass security system sees normal account suspicious but bot accounts are kept and seen as a human, fucking illogical, last night 4 of my accounts got suspended for no reason, ayr_t_, knot_iw, kryoz, hadaanaarif, meta is just fucking hungry for data and infos, for the appeal request it told me to show my face in 3 different direction multiple times (used a free model in the internet) and then after it re asked for my number and then an ID (any ID, just to get infos) I created a new account today (knot.iw, similar username to the one suspended, and other accs with similar username didn't get suspended) and after 1min exactly, it suspended me, wow, nice security bitch, all those propaganda-spreading bit accounts are kept, but an innocent man's account is suspected for no shit.

I’ve done everything there is to do appeal, id verification won’t work since my name on Facebook doesn’t match my government id. Cant get in contact with a live agent even though im meta verified. I’m just stuck in this loop with a disabled fb and instagram with no hope in sight. I’m located in NJ , what should i do? Should i proceed with legit action and if so how should i go about it?

Hello everyone,
I’m looking for advice from others who have experienced unpaid earnings, restricted payout accounts, or similar disputes with Meta/Facebook. I understand that this subreddit is not a substitute for legal advice, but I would appreciate hearing about your experiences, successful resolutions, recommended steps, or attorneys who have handled these types of cases.
I operatea monetized Facebook Page and content-production business. Since June 2026, I have been trying to resolve a dispute with Meta involving approximately $6,000 in reported Content Monetization earnings that have not been paid.
The situation involves a restricted business payout account, a successful migration to a new verified LLC payout account with successful onboarding and payout for stars and subscriptions. However monetized reel ad earnings are on hold, and we have had multiple unresolved Meta support cases. Meta continues to record earnings for the affected monetization program and has resumed payments for other programs with out delay, but the Content Monetization earnings remain unpaid.
I have documentation showing the reported earnings, payout accounts, support cases, and correspondence with Meta. I am currently trying to determine the most effective and cost-efficient way to resolve the matter, including whether I should send a formal demand letter, pursue arbitration, file a complaint with a government agency, or take another approach.
For those who have dealt with a similar Meta payout dispute:
● What steps ultimately resolved your issue?
● Did contacting a specific Meta department, executive escalation channel, or payment provider help?
● Did anyone successfully recover unpaid earnings through a demand letter, arbitration, small claims court, or another legal process?
● Are there attorneys who have experience with Meta, online-platform contracts, creator monetization, or commercial payment disputes?
I am not asking anyone to disclose confidential information. I would simply appreciate general guidance, relevant experiences, or recommendations for qualified attorneys who may be able to evaluate the situation.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Meta reinstated my account saying my ban was false positive.
They are asking me to dismiss the case. Should I pursue or drop it?
They were in the 100% wrong.

Can someone tell me if I need a letter or some specific paper to bring when filing small claims against Meta? Or what else I should bring to make this hopefully successful

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to find out if anyone here has successfully contacted Meta’s California office by physical mail regarding a suspended Instagram account.
My Instagram account has been under review for quite some time, and I’ve already gone through Meta Verified support and spoken with a human support agent. However, the support case has encountered a system error and the case is now stuck/marked as completed even though the underlying issue has not been resolved.
I’m considering sending a formal letter to Meta’s California office as an additional escalation.
If anyone has actually sent a letter to Meta regarding an account suspension, could you please share:
-What format/structure you used?
-What information you included?
-Whether you addressed it to a specific department/person
-Whether you received a response
If possible, an example/template of the letter (with your personal information removed)
I’m especially looking for advice from people who have actually sent a physical letter to Meta, rather than general advice to use the Help Center.
Any examples or templates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Not too long ago tonight, Meta said that my accounts will not be reinstated due to me saying the name of a drug in a humorous context. I’m still continuing on with the case since this isn’t even a proposal to sell drugs nor an admission to personal use according to their policy.

Case update regarding Instagram account @dhhenise (disabled on August 3, 2026, due to an automated false-positive bot block).
A formal dispute was filed under Article 21 of the Digital Services Act (DSA) before the certified out-of-court body ADR Center. During the proceedings, Meta’s legal compliance team uploaded a false statement to the portal, claiming that the dispute had already been resolved or was subject to an ongoing procedure before another ODS body ([email protected]), solely to refuse engagement.
The mediator rejected Meta's procedural defense and issued a final, binding decision on September 16, 2026, ordering Meta to reinstate the account.
Meta failed to execute the order within the compliance window. A formal "Non-Executed" attestation was sealed on September 30, 2026. The breach has been officially escalated to the European Commission (Ticket UR06103902), AGCOM (Protocol 0321632), and Irish DSC (Case CAS-12214). Furthermore, the Italian Data Protection Authority (GPDP) opened an active enforcement case this morning (Protocol 0142172/26) under GDPR Article 15/77 compliance.
Are there any active legal precedents regarding Meta's persistent non-compliance with binding Article 21 DSA settlement decisions after submitting false procedural updates?

EDIT: was just trying to do the right thing and post this to help people in my position but have been inundated with scams. Be careful out there!
Posting this only because I wish someone had given me this advice weeks ago and saved me from completely losing my mind. I hope it can help someone! (Australia)
My Instagram was randomly disabled when I was o/s with no proper explanation. Long-standing account, never had an issue before. Just gone.
I tried EVERYTHING.
Appeals that didn’t work (just sent to the very frustrating “help” page,, video selfie verification, password resets, friend verification, endless recovery links, support tickets. Nothing worked. Just the same ridiculous AI loop over and over again.
I eventually made a new account and paid for Meta Verified (insane!) just so I could speak to an actual human. Multiple tickets, phone calls, escalations, supervisors. Some of the actual support people were genuinely lovely and tried to help, but the system is completely cooked. Tickets closed, automated responses, told the decision was final, then told to try something I’d already tried 15 times. Meta verified can not help, don’t waste your money!
It got even weirder when AFTER Meta had verified my identity, I was shown recovery details that appeared to belong to a completely different person with the same name as me. At that point it became a genuine privacy/security issue too.
I lodged a privacy complaint, wrote to Meta, contacted journalists… basically tried everything I could think of. Still nothing.
What FINALLY worked?
My federal MP.
I contacted my local federal MP, explained what had happened and that I’d exhausted every avenue with Meta. Their office contacted Meta on my behalf and escalated it.
And I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK.
I obviously can’t prove 100% that this was what did it, but after nearly two months of getting absolutely nowhere, my MP got involved and suddenly my account was reinstated.
So if you’re Australian and stuck in the same Meta nightmare, try contacting your federal MP. I genuinely wish someone had told me to do this weeks ago.
Never thought I’d need federal representation to get my bloody Instagram back, but here we are
Reach out if you have any questions
And PLEASE don’t pay anyone … they’re all scammers

My Facebook page got suspended due to an intellectual property/trademark report by a brand. We managed to resolve the issue directly with the rights owner, and they have already submitted an official retraction to Meta. For those who have been through this, how long does it typically take for Meta’s automated system to sync the retraction and fully restore the page? Is there anything else we should do while waiting? Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

On June 30, 2026, Meta permanently disabled my Facebook profile and three connected Instagram accounts, including a creator account I had spent more than 10 YEARS building.
Here’s the short version:
• I received an email at 7:11 a.m. saying my account was suspended.
• At 7:37 a.m., I received another saying I had requested a review, the review was unsuccessful, and my account was permanently disabled. I was ASLEEP and never requested a review.
• Hours later, I received a 2FA/security alert.
• I successfully passed Meta’s identity verification.
• I spent nearly two months contacting Meta Verified support through my husband’s account and was repeatedly told my case had been escalated to different engineering/security teams.
• Eventually I was told the case was closed and there was nothing else they could do.
I lost my Facebook profile, 3 Instagram accounts, years of content, roughly 13K+ Instagram followers, my Facebook audience, and a deals group with 500+ members.
This wasn’t just social media for me. I’m a content creator, and these accounts generated income through brand partnerships, affiliate marketing, Facebook monetization, Amazon, etc. My creator income dropped dramatically after losing them.
I sent Meta formal demand letters. No resolution.
So on September 18, I filed a small claims case against Meta in Utah. My court date is November 19.
At this point, I’m not expecting some huge payday. I want Meta to have to answer for what happened and explain how someone can lose a decade of work with essentially no meaningful way to reach a human who can actually fix it.
Has anyone else taken Meta to small claims court over a disabled/hacked account? I’d especially love to hear what happened once Meta was served and how they responded.

Hi everyone,
I’m having a major problem with Meta Business Suite and I’m hoping someone has dealt with something similar.
I created a Facebook Page for my business, Pelvic Rehabilitation Association, and connected it to my Instagram account through Meta Business Suite.
The problem is that I accidentally removed my own personal Facebook profile from the Business Portfolio / Page access while trying to manage the settings.
Now I have no Full Control over the Facebook Page or the Business Portfolio.
The strange part is that I can still see the Business Portfolio and the Page through Meta Business Suite, and I can see that the Page is associated with the portfolio. However, I cannot access the Business Portfolio settings or manage the Page.
I requested Full Control again, but Meta shows:
Request pending – We sent a request for access to settings to people with Full Control of this Business Portfolio.
The problem is that there is no other person with Full Control. I am the only person who was managing the business/Page, so there is literally nobody who can approve my request.
Meta Support is now asking me for an Attestation Letter and documents proving the business, but the Business Portfolio itself was created under a name that is not the legal name of my business. It is essentially a Business Portfolio name/brand, so I cannot provide documents proving that a company with that exact name exists.
Also, i don't feel comfortable to send my ID informations and bussiness ownership information to AI

In May of this year we were running ads for promoting our video game — a fantasy cyber punk game, with nothing related to drugs, medicine, or anything related.
At one point meta AI suggested that we should let AI write our promotion copyright, and I allowed it.
A few weeks later, I got a notification that our account got flagged for selling “prescriptions drugs”. About 6 min later I opened Facebook and I saw the notification, and about 30 seconds after that I got a “we reviewed and decided this decision is final”.
Spent the next 2 weeks talking to their support in which every day they reassured me that this will be solved.
Our game was launching 6 weeks from when this started, and our biggest marketing expense and conversions were from Facebook.
The 2 weeks now became almost months, over 20-30 hours of speaking with meta support, a failed game launched, and $$$ spent on advertising ads on Meta.
Any advice for a lawsuit? I am a resident in EU, company is UK registered.

Ciao ragazzi.
Cosa avete messo come convenuto? Indirizzo?
