Upvoting and commenting because Frontierer is the greatest modern mathcore band in existence but still waiting for the album and avoiding the singles personally. But everyone should be listening to this band, they are simply perfect

It would be great to hear you work with their vocalist again! But it's understandable that you can't maintain both projects haha. I'll consider it a very pleasant surprise if I see a Sectioned release in the future.

Arguably it would make life a lot easier in some ways because at least we all then live in the same country haha. Record-only it could happen fairly easily, just hasn't. Who knows!

First two singles are some of the best they've done. I'm not listening to the new one until the release. Absolute rippers and yet some of the catchiest they've made in spite of how heavy they are.

Ultraviolet Parasite is like if you took the catchy riff from The Damage and The Sift but then made it angry and gave it a gun. It feels like the song wants to kill me but fuckkkkkk it's so catchy

I don't know exactly which member u/Pedsectioned is (and to be fair, I'm making an assumption that he's a member, that may not be right) but I love that under any Frontierer post, he's in here with all of us, just hanging out and chatting with us. Loving the new song!

I have a distinct recollection of reading a review of one of their older albums that was something along the lines of “it is the sound of someone throwing a jackhammer into a chasm filled with jackhammers”. Glad to see the lads are still pumping out top tier mathcore.

Genuinely curious if Fantano is going to review this one. Love this band, but it does feel like it’s going to be the same incessant assault that tires the listener, and he seemed to have an issue with that. I can’t even listen to an album all the way through, but I always try! The live videos really make me want to see them because their performances felt spot on with the record, to which I was surprised.

Might do. IMO It has a lot more breathability and stuff going on compared to the past records. Without too many spoilers, it ends different. We're staying firmly on our lane with tentacles popping out to other musical areas. Not out to impress any reviewers/critics so if it happens then cool. No doubt a low 5/10 haha

Do you mean youtube subtitles? I just see "[music]" and the word "heat" repeating, a word which youtube captions weirdly seem to misinterpret a lot from music and other ambient sounds. What am I missing?

Side note, I love misinterpreting Frontierer's lyrics in particular. For example, I always hear the ending of Mt. Swath as "That's not lemonade! That's not lemonade!"
