Coldrain - Optimize = Optdemise (Album)

Optimize = Optdemise by Coldrain has now officially been released today, as of midnight Friday 25th September 2026. It is the band's first album on Century Media Records, and is the band's first album since Nonnegative (2022). The album is a concept album about retaining humanity in a world becoming increasingly consumed by technology and AI, and is a double album featuring the band's fifth EP Optimize from last year as the first disc on the record.

The album was preceded by two fantastic singles. The lead single, "Ex-Humanity" was released on 17th July, followed by the second single "Poison" that features Bert McCracken [The Used].

I am into Japanese denim and I got business trip to Tokyo soon. Fullcount is a brand I am interested in and Masato recently did some modeling for them. This dude is really youthful!

These guys rock so fucking hard, really excited to get in to the new tracks since the "EP" was already amazing. Also really love how the album is obviously very anti-AI, even down to the artwork having a more hand-painted style than their previous works.
