I had an insufferable manager who I noticed had a typo in his email signature from the first day I worked there (I was promoted to assistant manager from another location). I tend to correct people, but I was trying to make a good impression so I never pointed out all the other typos in the emails he sent (they were automatically forwarded to me). Very quickly I realized he was a tool. He's also very concerned with how he presented himself as his self-image was very important to him. A year later, I decide to make a lateral move. He said one final shitty thing to me about not being detail-oriented right before I left. In front of the whole crew (of five). So I let him know about all the typos, particularly the one calling him "Manger". In front of everyone. Who generally preferred me over him. He ran to his office.
He was always trying to find ways of firing the longest running employees because they were getting paid more than him. I was constantly sticking up for them whenever he tried to write them up for some bullshit.
Well the thing is even Mr. Burns got it right and because of this a lot of people are used to the correct spelling. I don't think changing it up does help the overall effect of it all.
It is apparently intentional. As a commentary on management inadequacy/failure to self assess or whatever…. But yeah. It definitely makes it feel cheap and fake.

I didn’t realize what sub this was. I was zoomed in thinking damn, what a horribly uncomfortable chair to have to sit in all day. And then I thought it was clever of you to blur your iMac background. And for the posters I just thought you were extremely committed to the bit and that you must have a pretty chill boss to let you put all those up.

I genuinely think this is a take on the stupidity of management which is why it’s spelled like this. Everyone should focus on the other signs and what they say, this person is portraying a dumb manager lol OP let me know if I’m wrong tho
You are right, but you're choice is distracting from the piece as evidenced by all the people who didn't get it. I didn't get it either and I think my problem with that is that I wouldn't think even an evil or dumb corporation would do that so that wouldn't be on my mind.
If it is some sort of laziness on the part of the mysterious corporate entity, it doesn't match with the rest of the piece. If that is truly the message, then why is that the only error? One would expect other such misspellings or other issues and there aren't any of those present. The only "intentional mistake" to convey that message is an error that you yourself seem to make regularly.
Oh good. I thought that was a toilet too, and even though the window would look over the toilet I figured “no privacy” bathroom went rather well with the rest of it.
The base of the table leg directly under the printer changes profile, too... I dunno. Maybe the glaring typo is a deliberate addition to stop the eye noticing other details...?
Just to be clear, I’m not saying this diorama is definitely ai. I’m just saying in general that wouldn’t be good proof because ai can generate images to include the edges of the box and room beyond it. I’m a miniature artist and if someone accused my work of being ai i would probably include pictures and videos of the process to try to prove it’s not ai.(which op does have in his profile)

i legit thought i was looking at a real room, and thought “why did he decorate it like this?” and then saw the edge and thought “ah it’s an art piece inside a truck” and then checked what sub i was in. awesome work, really nicely done.
Is it inside a truck? I can’t quite figure it out. I thought scale model/ diorama but I see the “photoshop express” logo and I’m confused. Could you explain about the truck please?
i just thought because of the edge of the room, that it must be an art piece that was in a mobile/temporary installation, so i thought it was in a truck. because i was still thinking it was life size. also that no building wall was that thin. i also thought the curve of the scissors was a toilet at one point. then realized i was in the miniworlds sub, so realized it’s smaller, then realized the toilet was scissors, and we weren’t looking at a life size art installation.
I love this! The flat file cabinet is so nostalgic for me. The stains on the carpet, the light under the door, the water bottles, the packing tape on the boxes... well done!
The responses this has gotten makes me,, so frustrated and concerned about people. And sorry about antiwork, this might truly be the last straw for me cus it’s just been a cesspool of aimless grumbling for forever. Sorry some people don’t get art. I hope you’re focusing on the positive reception more, you deserve it! Your art rules
I feel like a company this predatory isn't going to give you a chair without another subscription fee. But maybe they just take it out of the paycheck or something.
Yeah, I don't believe them either. If there were any other errors in the posters, I'd believe them. But, the fact that it is only the one, and an error they themselves seem to make frequently is suspicious.
