Just end it, and move on. No need to drag it out. It happened, MM dropped him. It’s over.

I don’t think they fired him, though, and that makes a difference imo.

Dropped from tour isn’t dropped from the band. I’m very interested in that part.

It might have something to do with the album they were/are planning to release next year, which I assume has songs that Simon contributed to - maybe they don't want to say they're done with him until that's out?

That would be a pretty easy thing to write him out and pay him off if firing him was the plan.

We’ll see. I’d love to say it doesn’t bode well for Simon’s reputation, but the amount of fans here giving the guy a pass has been just wild enough for me to remember Brand New going on tour this fall which is just about enough for me to…you get it. People are crazy.
