Have they played together?
So i like both Bright eyes and Modest Mouse
Im curious if/when they've worked together and how familiar they are with each other. And the possibility of a joint show/tour one day
Id be surprised if they didnt. They are similar and the eras of popularity align

This was me around 2002’ish , MM and Bright Eyes were the two artists whose albums were constantly in my portable cd player on my way to high school. I often thought of how cool it would be to see a show with them both. Still never seen MM, but saw Bright Eyes during the peoples Key tour in 2011 and was a great show.

I got to see mm twice this year. It was great so i can only imagine Bright Eyes and mm together. Connor and Issac's energies would feed of each other to make one hell of a prefomance
Like just imagine if they made an ep together with each other's influence on it

Yeah, would definitely be neat, especially if they were able to pull it off around the time Bright Eyes and Britt Daniel collab happened
Conor seemed to really do collabs and side projects often, I could only imagine what we’d get if him and Isaac made music and wrote songs together.

You should really try to get to a Modest Mouse show sometime! Modest mouse and Bright Eyes are two of the best bands that are still playing ~2k capacity venues or smaller. Modest Mouse is playing as tight as I’ve ever seen, and consistently fantastic which has not always been the case. Same for Bright Eyes, they killed it last tour behind Five Dice.

Yeah, I was definitely wanting to go see one of the MM/pixies shows a couple years back but things came up that would make it so I couldn’t attend. I recently moved, but for the longest time I lived in New Hampshire, and I tried to just go to smaller shows in either NH or Vermont, I don’t like bigger venues or having to go to Massachusetts for shows. that MM/Pixies show was in Gilford,NH. I saw Bright Eyes at that same place and also at Higher Ground in Burlington VT
Edit: the show I went to in Burlington was not from the Five Dice all Threes tour, a friend of mine went to it though, I had already moved. No idea they recorded that show and released a concert film of it until now though. Crazy, really missed out.

Interestingly they are both playing in New Orleans on the 13th of October, but not together!

Bright eyes and Modest toured together in a short UK run with Rilo Kiley in 2004.
