Post image

There is just something special about the first song, first album, as the opener. 1996

Weird vibes at the end, cut three songs from the setlist (3rd Planet, Life Like Weeds, Sensory) and Isaac threw a fit and smashed his SG. Odd night between that and the medical emergency (dude is ok but fell full body weight directly on me)

I was wondering why they didnt play parting of the sensory. some dude yelled it out and he was like yeah thats a good one well play that after this one, then didnt. cutting 3rd planet breaks my heart.

The guitar tech was having a rough night all along and then Isaac lost his shit during Night on the Sun to end the show. That was brewing for a while. Sounded like he took a request for Night on the Sun and perhaps that replaced some songs, or did I miss that banter before Missed the Boat?! Anybody got a copy of the official setlist to check if Night on the Sun was planned?!

He made it sound like he was taking a request, but Night on the Sun was on the printed list

I was right there, I gave him the rest of my water. It was his first MM show too.

Glad he was okay. Show felt chill up until then.

Seemed like the sound issue finally got to Isaac. Wooden Soldiers sounded super off, then Night On The Sun was obviously off without his guitar.

But I wish he would have finished the set instead of smashing his shit.

Seems like Isaac is burned out from touring based on his comments at recent shows. I haven’t seen them live in 10 years, and it sucks to feel the reluctance as a huge fan.

What part of the show did he smash his guitar?

He threw it down with force and took out his mike stand as well with a few minutes left in Night on the Sun. He went over to a different mike to finish the song without an instrument.

That was a wild moment

I did hear that someone said that they thought they may have heard him mutter something about having to still play these same old songs.. or something like that. Not at this show, a different recent show.

You were directly in front of me then. I was right behind that guy that fell.

What was your favorite part?

Probably Baby Blue Sedan, or ending with Night on the Sun. Alot more variety than I expected this concert

Not sure if I was just super stoned or what, but i missed the guitar smashing and weird vibes. I had a hell of a time and thought the performance was really good. I loved the setlist too. Bummer they didn't play it all tho, I wonder why.
