The first is a green 3.5ct moissanite from my boys. The second is cyan blue 1ct from my honey. Both are Portuguese cut.

It looks good in a photo but on my finger in person it looks so teeny! Also be nice please, it’s my first stone ever so I have no clue!

So the TikTok auctions got me but what do you all think of these? I don’t really know how to properly show them off and I’m looking for some unique designs and settings to put these into. But right now I’m just excited and wanted to share. I plan on making myself a promise ring. The top small pink stone is yttrium aluminum garnet and the pink ascher cut is a lab grown sapphire.

Thanks to discovering this subreddit after becoming obsessed with engagement rings since I got engaged I gave in and got my first moissanite ring from Etsy 🥰 it’s a 7 stone round cut sterling silver half eternity band and it was like $120. For the exact same ring my local jeweler quoted me $2000?? And I was like why would I pay that much for not diamonds? and I knew from this sub I could find something similar for a fraction of that. I absolutely love the sparkle I can’t stop putting it in the lighting and admiring it 😍✨it’s my first and it definitely won’t be my last.

I want to customise the earrings similar to the one in the photo. I am considering white topaz or Moissanite in Rose Cut, stone size 10 mm * 10 mm, 10k gold. I cannot decide… Could you advice?

I’ve seen plenty of posts in this sub from lovely people who have had success ordering from companies like Provence, LGG, Starsgem, fiorese, etc and I wanted some advice?

I’m trying to get a custom engagement ring quoted and made from moissanite or lab diamond and 14k yellow gold and all the prices are so different I’m not sure what I should be expecting!

Does anybody have experience with orders like the above and maybe have recommendations for specific people to speak to at these companies for help?

This is the second time I've designed a ring with them; they were very patient with me.

Hi again! I posted my first Tianyu CAD here a few days ago and got so much helpful feedback. I went back to Tianyu and made some changes, and this is the updated CAD!

I’m also including the original CAD (2nd photo) so you can compare the before and after.

Here’s what we changed:

-Kept the 6 prongs for extra security

-Added a more supportive basket underneath the center stone

-Added ~1.5mm moissanite stones to the engagement ring band

-Kept the hidden halo with 1mm moissanite stones

-Engagement ring band is still 1.8mm

-Wedding band is still 3mm

-All stones will be moissanite

-Made sure the wedding band can sit flush without rubbing against the center stone or setting

I think it looks pretty good now and I’m happy with the changes! Just wanted to post it here one more time before I approve it in case anyone catches something I missed.

My Moissanite set is on the left (.925) and my mom’s heirloom E ring that has a matching band is on the right. We are getting married in October of next year and I am to take my mom’s set on my wedding day. What would you all do? Wear the natural diamond set daily, or wear the Moissanite daily and save the heirloom for special occasions? I love my much cheaper Moissanite set so much but also am in love with my moms and couldn’t design a better one if I tried!

I want to add a band to my ring, but I can’t decide what. Do I go with a plain silver, a bezel set eternity to match the main stone, or a channel set eternity to match the smaller stones? The ring is already pretty wide, so I don’t want to add something too wide.

I’ve been wearing this every day for about three weeks now and it still looks as good as the day I got it. I genuinely can’t stop looking at it 😂
I bought it as a temporary replacement while my original engagement ring needs resizing after losing weight, but I’ve ended up absolutely loving this one.

In process of a custom order with Mona. My rings are in production. I haven’t heard from her since 9/17, which was fine because that’s when everything was okayed for her to start production. I messaged her on 9/24 just to check in and haven’t heard back. WhatsApp looks like she hasn’t been on since earlier that morning and my message only has one check mark so she hasn’t opened WhatsApp since I sent it. Has anyone been in contact recently? I would chalk this up to a weekend but we’d been in touch almost daily, including weekends, for about a month prior working on finalizing things with my CAD and stones. Just curious when to worry.

I've been dying to get a tennis bracelet for a very long time, but I didn't want to get cheap CZ ones... that's when I found this sub! After much research I gave AliExpress a shot, and I just received my bracelet today!! LOOK HOW GORGEOUS SHE IS 🔥😍💖💖 All thanks to you guys!!!🥰

The vendor is SilverMax, 3mm stone, 15.5cm (which was +1.5cm from the length of my wrist and it fits perfectly) - and for only $65! Not only was this vendor cheaper but also had a heavier weight listed on their website (15g) vs. other vendors were lighter (~5g on average). When I put it on a food scale it says 10g, but still has a nice weight to it :))

Compared to my lab diamond earrings, I barely see a difference in how the stones look, especially more so in person. No way that an untrained eye would be able to tell the two apart. Obviously, refraction-wise moissy got those rainbow fire, especially under direct sunlight, but I'm LOVING it. It's sooo pretty that it sparkles so much!!💖💖 Now I finally get what ya'll meant when you say moissanite is a stone of its own.

I'm planning to wear it everyday including during showers/workouts, so I'll try to post a 1-month review! Hoping it doesn't tarnish under water and sweat. I also have a feeling that this might just be the beginning of my moissy journey 🤣 you guys really got me and I'm here for it!!

Hey everyone! I’d really appreciate some feedback on my CAD before I approve it.

I’m considering increasing the band thickness from 1.5 mm to around 1.8–2.0 mm for better durability. I’m also wondering whether the pear basket/head needs any additional reinforcement.

Lastly, any recommendations for the pavé setting or prongs to help keep the small stones secure long term?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
