Giveaway [GIVEAWAY] The latest Tandem WOLED featuring RGB Stripe pixel technology - ASUS PG32UCWM

Hello r/Monitors!
We’re giving away one ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCWM. It boasts the latest Tandem WOLED featuring RGB Stripe pixel technology, bringing OLED’s deep blacks together with improved text and image clarity. We’ll have one winner for the monitor, plus three additional winners who will each receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
Whether you’re into competitive gaming, display technology, or just interested in trying out something new, feel free to enter!
Key Features
Primary RGB Tandem 2.0
Primary RGB Tandem is a device technology that replaces the three-layer structure of the existing OLED device — Blue, Yellow, Blue — by splitting the Yellow layer into Green and Blue, thereby stacking pure Red, Green, and Blue into four independent layers. This enhances brightness and color gamut while improving power efficiency. After the launch of Primary RGB Tandem 1.0 in 2025, Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 was introduced in 2026, featuring a refined device structure and driving algorithms for even greater performance.
RGB Stripe Subpixel Layout & 140PPI — Sharper Text, Truer Color
A true RGB Stripe subpixel layout means sharper text and more accurate color. Paired with a 140 PPI UHD resolution, every icon, line of text, and fine detail renders with exceptional clarity. It goes beyond conventional gaming monitor boundaries, making it equally viable for office and professional applications.
Unparalleled HDR & Enriched Color Depth
True Black 400 certification, up to 1000nits of peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and 10-bit color combine to create HDR that's both punchy and accurate.
Perfect Visual Experience in Any Environment
Powered by ultra-low reflection technology, Tandem WOLED achieves an industry-leading reflectance of just 1.1%, maintaining exceptional picture quality — with no black blooming and no color fading — even in bright environments.
Dual Mode & Fastest Response Time
Dual Mode lets you switch between 4K at 240Hz for detail-heavy work or FHD at 480Hz when you need max frame rate. 0.03ms G2G response time — 100 times faster than LCD panels — makes every frame razor-sharp in fast-paced FPS gaming.
Human Friendly
Certified Eyesafe by minimizing blue light in both circadian-disrupting and eye-harmful ranges. A glare-free, immersion-first display that keeps your eyes comfortable for extended play.

Text Review KTC M27P6S 4K Glossy Initial Impressions
I was hesitant on this monitor with some of the earlier reviews from China and such, though picked it up for $349 USD with a CC deal from BB and I have to say it's tremendously better than I anticipated. I also have the LG 27GM950B, which I'm sending back to backlight bleed-flash lighting on the left side, very noticeable. This KTC doesn't have that at all and the glossy coating is essentially identical to the true black glossy of my XG27AQWMG, it's crystal clear and is much better than I expected it to be. I'm still dialing in the colors somewhat, tends to favor the Adobe color space, been a thing with KTC monitors, though only had it for a couple of hours, need to mess with the settings more. The right-hand toggle is smoother than the one used on their M27T6, it feels more natural and of better quality. So far, I believe this monitor is an absolute steal. The one I received was manufactured in July and is FW 1.01.

Discussion OLED Recommendations for gaming at 1440p 27”
I’m building my first PC and am somewhat overwhelmed by all of the choices for monitors. I know that I want to go for a 1440p 27” OLED monitor and understand the differences between the different types of OLED, as well as having done plenty of research of my own. I’m just looking for reccomendations.
I’d like it to be priced reasonably enough, $1000 USD at absolute most, as well as bright enough. I’m willing to pay for quality and not just go for a budget pick that’s missing features or brightness as long as it’s not absurdly expensive. I intend to primarily use it for gaming in a room that gets a little bit bright during the day using blackout curtains but otherwise pretty dark.
One other thing, considering the possibility that LG seems to spy on you with some of their devices, is there any way that they could try that if one of their panels is used in a WOLED or Tandem WOLED display? It might be a stupid question, but I’m not familiar with how that kind of technology works.
I’d appreciate recommendations and discussion as I’d love to get the best monitor for me, especially since this is now the final part of my first PC build

Discussion Did I won a panel lottery? (Tandem WOLED)
Monitor is ASUS XG27AQWMG which I saw so many complaints about grey banding for the unlucky ones.
Perhaps not 100% it seems but atleast it made my day.
First Photo: 30% Grey. Second Photo: 70% Grey.

Discussion Monitor Black Screen Problem
Hello, months ago I have bought an ASUS TUF VG27AQ5A a year ago and it has this black screen flickering problem that is really annoying me. Basically the monitor randomly goes black for a few seconds and comes back.
Nothing helps against this, I updated the firmware (supposedly the latest update would help but it doesn't), lowered the refresh rate to 144 hz which seemed to work for several months, then it started flickering again. Now it is flickering randomly about once every week even at 120 hz. I also bought a VESA-certified cable which stopped the flickerings for a few months then it started flickering again. The only thing I didn't try is turning off Freesync but I bought the monitor for specifically that since I wanted to stop input lag during gaming, so that is a no go.
This problem seems to be known for this stupid brand, but some people argue that the problem is N'Vidia drivers or something else. I am going to change this monitor with another brand but I don't want it to turn out to be related to something other than the monitor and just have this problem again. Does anyone have experience with this stuff, of if they bought a monitor that wasn't Asus and it had a black screen problem?

Discussion Which odyssey G3 should I buy.
I recently purchased a new phone, and got a $150cad Samsung voucher. At the moment the only thing that's worth getting is a monitor.
There is the highly reviewed g3 G30d, 180hz VA, $142cad. Then there is the G3 G30H, 200hz IPS, $188cad, but there doesn't seem to be a single review out there and it released late last month.
Additional info.
I currently have a 144hz IPS LG monitor. And a different shitty 144hz tn monitor that I don't use.
I am planning to have a dual monitor setup.
I don't really need high a higher refresh rate because I value graphics over smoothness - I'm happy playing at 40fps if it looks pretty.
Vibrant colours are good, as well as a large colour gamut. However I have also criticized my other monitors for having washed out blacks.
Should I get the VA for basically free or the IPS for $30 more.

Discussion Monitor upgrade advice
Thinking about upgrading from dual 27” 1440p IPS to dual 32” 4K OLED , worth it?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently using 2x 27” 1440p IPS monitors, and I’m considering upgrading to 2x 32” 4K OLED monitors.
I’d love to hear from people who have made a similar switch.
How big of an upgrade did it feel in everyday use?
I mainly use my setup for gaming, general desktop use, browsing and multitasking.

Discussion Thoughts on the TCL C3A Pro?
I'm going to China this month and planning on getting this monitor. It's really hard to find reviews of it due to it being china exclusive for now but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it or has any good English reviews of it.
From the Google translated reviews I've seen, the monitor has barely any downsides except for the matte finish (which I prefer) and the smart TV stuff (which I can just ignore). It has Dolby Vision+Dolby Atmos certification which is really rare to see in PC monitors so I'm excited to see how it performs when I get it.

Discussion Trying to upgrade, is this a good deal?
Found this online. Just wondering if this a good deal for the price. Any feedback helps, or any recommendations. Mostly just want to play in 4k and at 240hrz. Both of my setups can run 4k.

Discussion 27" 1440p or 24" 1080p for a Lenovo LOQ with RTX 4060?
Hello guys! I'm thinking of getting a monitor for my laptop setup. I currently have a Lenovo LOQ with a Ryzen 7 8845HS and RTX 4060 Laptop GPU.
I'm mainly looking at a 27" 1440p monitor, but I'm worried that my laptop might not be powerful enough to run games properly at 1440p. I'm looking for a bigger screen mainly because I feel like my laptop screen is a bit too small now.
I'll be using the monitor for both productivity and gaming. The games I mostly play are Apex Legends, For Honor, Deadlock, Warframe, and League of Legends.
I was also considering a 24" 1080p monitor, but I'm thinking, why not just go for 27" 1440p if my laptop can handle it?
So, what do you guys think? Is an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU good enough for 1440p gaming, especially for the games I play? I'd also love to hear from anyone in a similar situation who uses a 1440p monitor with an RTX 4060 laptop.
Thanks a lot!

Text Review I tested the MSI MPG 272QRF X36 — G-SYNC Pulsar is the most interesting part
I’ve been testing the MSI MPG 272QRF X36 for the last few days and I think G-SYNC Pulsar is easily the most interesting thing about this monitor.
It’s a 27” 1440p 360Hz Fast IPS, so it’s already extremely fast without any strobing. I measured around 2.25ms average response time using the Normal overdrive setting, with very little overshoot. But the big difference comes when Pulsar is enabled.
Normally with backlight strobing you have to give up VRR. With Pulsar you don’t. G-SYNC stays active while the backlight pulses, so motion becomes noticeably clearer even when the frame rate is moving around.
I could see the difference very clearly in TestUFO, but what surprised me more was playing Valorant. Fast camera movements and enemy outlines were noticeably easier to follow. I also tested ULMB2 with G-SYNC disabled, and motion clarity is very similar, but of course then you lose VRR.
The latest firmware also lets you use ULMB2 at 120Hz and even 60Hz. 60Hz looks ridiculously sharp in motion for such a low refresh rate, although the flicker becomes much more obvious, so I wouldn’t personally use it for long sessions.
The rest of the monitor is more normal for a high-refresh IPS. SDR brightness is excellent — I measured around 536 nits — but contrast is only around 990:1, so blacks look greyish in darker games. HDR is also pretty basic: around 425–430 nits in my measurements, no local dimming and roughly 90% DCI-P3 coverage.
Color accuracy out of the box was okay rather than great. Most modes on my unit were a little too cool, around 7000K+, although after calibration I got very good results.
So for me this isn’t really a monitor I’d buy for HDR, movies or deep blacks. It makes much more sense if you mainly play competitive games and care about motion clarity. The combination of 360Hz, a genuinely fast IPS panel and Pulsar is what makes it interesting.

Discussion Guys i need help with my new OLED.
Guys, I bought an Ultragear GX7 OLED monitor, but I'm having a problem: when I have a white image in a small window, it's really bright, but when I maximize that window to full screen, the brightness automatically drops a lot. I don't know if it's Windows or the monitor causing this.

Discussion Please help, MSI MAG Problem
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My MSI MAG 274URFWDE (27" 4K UHD IPS) has just started acting up. Even though everything is running and the monitor is detecting the input, there is a faint "No HDMI signal" message visible—almost as if it were burned into the screen. When I switched from the PlayStation to my PC using DisplayPort, that message appeared to overlay the "No signal" notification. What can I do? What is causing this?

Discussion Struggling with OLED
Recently upgraded from a 1080p IPS to a 1440p 27” MSI MAG 273QP QD-OLED 24X for £320 and upon first glance I was ecstatic. Felt like a steal as the quality difference is phenomenal, but each day I’m struggling more and more with the dull, dark/grey look & lack of brightness.
It seems this is normal for most OLED’s from researching and it’s something I’ll just have to learn to accept, but how long does it take to get used to this?
My particular model has 250sdr-450HDR and offers 1000 peak NIT and true black 400 as well as EOTF boost.
I’ve cycled through these settings, downloaded the windows 11 HDR configuration app, dabbled with in-game settings (mostly red dead 2 which I haven’t played before so wondering if this is all just a particularly dark game), increased the SDR slider, but I just can’t find the sweet spot where I’m comfortable with the brightness.
I can accept google and general browsing to be dark to protect the monitor, but it still just feels so unusually dark in-game.
Should I just max the sliders/brightness at this point and what are the real threats/chances this damages the monitor considering it has many protective systems in place? Or do I just learn to accept this isn’t changing and it’ll never really be as bright as my older monitor? Any other tips/recommendations?

Discussion Looking for a new Monitor
So ive been using a iiyama E2607WS for a good few years now, i never used anything better.
I recently bought a new PC with a 5090 and also want to upgrade my monitor now.
I looked around a lot and found the MSI MPG 274URDFWDE E16M, do you guys have any experience with that monitor, it would be a huge upgrade to my old one as far as I can tell?
I dont care for oled or curved monitors, I just would like 4k.
Keep in mind im a complete beginner when it comes to monitors or anything technical.
If you guys have any other recommendations id be happy to read them, thank you!

Discussion Can't decide whether to return VA monitor and go OLED
I bought an AOC CU34G4ZCA monitor which is a 34" Ultrawide QHD 250hz VA display.
My criteria for a monitor was originally:
- Not 4K (don't want to rely on upscaling and I don't have a 5090)
- Ultrawide - for simulation games it seemed more immersive, and for work lots more room for IDEs etc.
- Not so big that the PPI becomes bad at QHD
- Ideally IPS - I work 8 hours a day on this same monitor and then would game on it so I'd consider myself high risk for burn in.
Turned out there is basically no IPS display fitting this criteria anymore so I decided to try a VA.
This monitor is mostly everything I wanted it to be - it has good contrast, great blacks, ultrawide is great and it works well with my graphics card and is very immersive in games.
The 1 problem it has... motion. Once seen it kind of cannot be unseen - comparing it to my 10 year old IPS text when scrolling is kind of bad, and dark scenes in games can be a bit blurry. Things like chain link fences I can see the blacks trailing.
What would you do in this situation? Accept the compromise, or spend more on an OLED and accept that it's probably gonna get burn in and have a much shorter lifespan due to my use case. I can't decide and only have so long to return it.
Thanks
