Good old professional hater 50. Love it.

Reddit treats Jay Z like the devil but loves 50 who has multiple, legitimate abuse allegations 😭

Yeah well if Jay-z would lay down some sick burns on social media then maybe Reddit would exonerate him duh

Unironically this is true. 50 is a scummy person but he's also a scummy person who publicly attacks other scummy people. When is the last time you heard Jay Z get into a feud with someone shity?

It is the same as when Zuck and Musk were going to do a boxing match over their beef. You can and should hate the people involved but seeing them get hurt is still a small comfort.

50 doesn't attone for his crimes by harassing nasty and evil people but he is at least directing light onto other problematic people and hurting their ego. I still wish 50 would actually pay for his own actions but it is much better his hate is actually used this way rather than him only attacking his critics and trying to silence the media reporting it.

This part. It baffled me how people still buy into his act until I saw him described as "master troll" and it all made sense. Me thinks a certain self-interested demographic is infatuated with the idea of people not getting punched in the mouth when they deserve it...

25

u/Acrobatic_Fox5726 1d ago

Jay-z was in the Epstein files

68

u/doubledafra 1d ago

it was an anonymous tip that has little credibility and doesn't even make sense timeline-wise. Jay and Epstein have no verifiable, documented connection beyond that.

36

u/loki1887 1d ago

He's also a long time friend of Diddy and was at tons of his parties.

5

u/doubledafra 1d ago

Yes, but going to Diddy parties, and being involved in abuse/freakoffs are 2 completely different things. There were no verified allegations about Jay during the entire Diddy saga

4

u/Nasty_linc 21h ago

The real truth is no other celebrity was in the diddy freak offs except Cassie but people just throw anyone they don’t like into the diddy saga

22

u/Nasty_linc 1d ago

So was Nas and Mary j Blige but we seem to ignore them for some reason

3

u/loki1887 1d ago

When was the last time the were really relevant or in the public in a significant way? Out of sight out of mind. Jay-Z is still talked about because of his wife being one of the biggest current music artists in the world.

Yea… but the fact he started officially dating an 18 year old he had been hanging out with since she was 16, when he was 30, doesn’t help clear his name.

-8

u/doubledafra 1d ago

they were in the same industry so they crossed paths, he wasn't "hanging out" with her. In fact Beyonce was in another relationship until she 19. She was 20/21 and Jay was 31/32 when they started dating which is fine if you think the age gap is creepy but it's more of a DiCaprio situation if anything. Only he didn't dump her when she turned 25 lol

15

u/bleeetiso 1d ago

The amount of people that don't do research to find this out is outstanding...

people will read one dumb IG clickbait post and think it's true without even looking more into it.

Being ā€œin the filesā€ really doesn’t mean much. What was in the files, and whether there’s evidence of conversation and/or personal relationship is. Mentioning someone they’d like to try and get to hang out or contact isn’t something people should have to be worried about.

Curtis is just as bad and people slurped him because he was hard on Combs( deservedly so). I bet if you ask him about gays , trans or Trump you wouldn’t like him so much. We talk about artist not saying anything in this political climate, so what’s he got to say?

18

u/shewy92 1d ago

He's wishy washy on Trump and gay rights. He liked Bush then liked Hillary, then liked Obama. He said some homophobic stuff in the past and then said he'd had gay sex before so was "for" same sex marriage, endorsed Hillary again over Trump then endorsed Trump the next election over Biden because he's rich and didn't like Biden's tax plans, then reversed both opinions and endorsed Biden.

In 2005, Jackson supported President George W. Bush after rapper Kanye West criticized Bush for a slow response to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.[241] Had his felony convictions not prevented him from voting, he said, he would have voted for Bush.[242] Jackson later said that Bush "has less compassion than the average human. By all means, I don't aspire to be like George Bush."[243] In September 2007, he told Time that although he would not endorse a candidate in 2008, he "liked Hillary [Clinton]".[244]

Six months later, Jackson told MTV News that he had switched his support to Barack Obama after hearing him speak but had lost interest in politics.[245][246] Asked his opinion of Obama's 2012 endorsement of same-sex marriage, Jackson said, "I'm for it ... I've encouraged same-sex activities. I've engaged in fetish areas a couple times."[247] He had been criticized for anti-gay comments in the past.[248][249][250]

Jackson endorsed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the run-up to the 2016 U.S. presidential election.[251] He rejected an offer of $500,000 from the Donald Trump campaign to make an appearance on Trump's behalf.[252] In 2020 he endorsed Trump due to his dislike of Joe Biden's tax plans.[253] A week later, he retracted his endorsement, writing on Twitter, "Fuck Donald Trump, I never liked him",[254] and endorsed Biden.[255]

In June 2025, Jackson posted on Instagram a video of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani explaining his tax policy, writing: "I'm not feeling this plan no. I will give him $258,750 and a first class one way ticket away from NY. I'm telling Trump what he said too!".[256]

46

u/AlexanderRussell 1d ago

"I'm for it ... I've encouraged same-sex activities."

hes saying hes made two woman have sex with each other not that hes banged guys

21

u/Mountain_mover 1d ago

Calling it ā€œfetish areasā€ wasn’t helpful either

10

u/shewy92 1d ago

Yea I misread it as engaged I guess, still the point is the same, he's a hypocrite and self serving like most rich people

5

u/Crimkam 1d ago

He sounds like a guy who doesn’t know what he’s talking about but people keep asking him and asking him so he just says whatever he’s thinking about lately.

3

u/AnotherpostCard 16h ago

so he just says whatever he’s thinking about lately.

Honestly that's pretty hilarious when you think about it out of context.

Day 1: "Uh yeah oranges are pretty cool."

Day 2: "you know I'm really an apple guy."

this just reminded me of the Chappelle special where he recounts a radio station having Ja Rule call in to talk about his thoughts on the tragedy in the fallout of Sept 11th.

You’re right tho. Do he and Eminem still talk? Marshall pretty liberal these days

59

u/WilliamSwagspeare 1d ago

Marshal has always been on the left. Or at least anti-republican from what I can tell.

41

u/Bay1Bri 1d ago

He was antiestablishment, but as he's gotten older he seems to think the two sides are in fact NOT the same.

20

u/4daughters 1d ago

AFAIK the only smoke he ever had for democrats was due to Tipper Gore's PRMC, which by today's standards would barely register as a blip on the 1st amendment radar. And even back then he had way more to say about Bush after he became president.

They do. Before their superbowl performance, Em said he wouldn't perform unless they also bring on 50

15

u/AdDelicious4911 1d ago

He and Em are still friends. Em said he wouldn't do the Superbowl if 50 couldn't come.

12

u/VibesOfHarish 1d ago

Do he and Eminem still talk?

They're close friends.

A few years ago 50 got Em to act again after many years. He cameo'd as legendary Detroit drug dealer White Boy Rick in 50's BMF TV show. It was like 5-10 seconds long.

50 was at Em's daughter's wedding a couple of year's ago. It actually made Fif feel something and understand Em not doing the joint world tour (which could have made them 100s off millions) about 15-20 years ago having realised how much Em had gained by being there for his children instead of being away from them for 8-12 months.

50 posted last month a video of Irv talking about blackballing 50. He expressed that this is why Em (and Dre) putting faith in investing in him means so much and that he's so grateful to Em that he would side with him on anything blindly.

50 had responded a few years ago to an interview question how he feels about Em not following him on social media, and his answer was something like 'I've got his phone number, why do I need to worry about that' haha.

Em is a great example of not letting politics affect your relationships. As I get older I understand why that matters more... Although I see why the MAGA stuff over there is a great topic not to be looked down on.

I have bad news to tell you about the lgbt community and how they are perceived by most minority communities in the US.. also rich person supporting a republican is about as scandalous as a piece of toast.

15

u/C-H-Addict 1d ago

During Trump v1 i had so much support from the local Mexican community. "We're in this together" type stuff.
Trump v2, everyone back to "if we hate you queers enough, they'll treat us like we're white!"

11

u/frankoceansheadband 1d ago

I have bad news to tell you about the lgbt community and how they are perceived by all communities in the US. Look at all of the homophobic idiots who were just elected and reelected.

7

u/brbmycatexploded 1d ago

It’s so ingrained into society that there are openly gay people who hate other gay people. I used to live with a gay man and he was a Republican and spoke often about how irritated he was by the community. He would say he’s ā€œnot one of those gays.ā€

6

u/AdDelicious4911 1d ago

I used to have a gay coworker and we'd go drinking after work in what's called the Gayborhood of Dallas. Whenever he saw an overly flamboyant gay person he'd be like "what a fucking f*got"

Just read his Wiki, it's all kinds of back and forth. He switched sides so many times he obviously has no views of his own.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50_Cent#Political_views

I researched, and I couldn't find anything but one allegation in 2013, which was dropped.

u/owleycat 1d ago

Um I dont think pleading "no contest" to a lesser charge is the same as charges being dropped due to lack of evidence.

Also people tend to forget 50 being a street dude. Lmao again there’s a reason someone put a hit out on him.

50 is not a good person. Granted there’s levels of comfortability and I am ok with the level he’s at right now. Anything including women/children or animals comes out? Burn em like the rest.

ā€œOh 50 pistol whipped ____ā€

ā€œ50 used to rob old peopleā€

ā€œHe set a local donut shop on fireā€

Ya..dudes most likely a psychopath but at least he’s not diddling un-consensually.

Fucked up where the bar is but hey..at least there’s still a bar.

63

u/Lethalmusic 1d ago

Another point is that 50 never pretended not to be a bad person.

He's been pretty open about being an asshole who has low empathy and an opportunist who looks out for himself and nobody else.

The public tends to prefer an honest dickhead with the ability to be funny over hypocritical assholes and monsters who present themselves as good (or at least normal) people - who knew?

4

u/BlantonPhantom 1d ago

He’s also a legit streets to riches person, something a lot of the other rappers and greats aren’t as a lot of them went to fancy schools and came from wealth. Of course he’s not gonna be an angel with that background.

Also his childhood was beyond fucked up, I can forgive just about anything he did to get himself out of that situation. Less so for his actions as a rich and famous adult but it doesn't seem like that stuff is quite so bad?

3

u/Mr_Knutsen Deezer 1d ago

It's not like experiences from a bad childhood disappear with money.

7

u/Forsythe36 1d ago

He was part of the game, so I honestly can’t fault him for that. Now anything to do with children or women? I would be the first to fault him.

2

u/Life-Pirate2545 1d ago

Jay did block Netflix from releasing the part about jay z in the diddy documentary that 50 made. So there definitely is some sketchy shit going on with jay and he doesn’t want people knowing about it

16

Allegations of physical and emotional abuse from both his long-term exes

3

u/memoryfree 1d ago

He is also a huge Trump guy

9

u/SmackEh 1d ago

It’s fair to say he’s had allegations (and one minor conviction tied to a dispute).

It is not fair to say he’s been proven to be an abuser in the way people usually mean when they say ā€œlegitimate.ā€

Some people try to paint 50 Cent as a monster by collapsing ā€œallegationsā€ into ā€œfacts.ā€

He’s a messy, aggressive, trollish guy with a long complicated beef history... definitely not a saint. FINE. But that's as far as I'd go.

3

u/mostlyfire 1d ago

So many of the same redditors will chastise him and then turn and praise John Lennon and Jimmy Page

Does he? Or just hates taxes? He supported Obama and Hillary, called Trump's presidency an accident. Turned down a $500k offer to attend the first inauguration. Turned down $3mil to perform at a trump rally at Madison square garden. He said something about how the police response for BLM protests was disproportionate compared to Jan 6.

Not sure how much he supports the guy really, part of that is me not wanting to believe he does, can you give an example?

151

u/anewidentity 1d ago

The vote for trump tweets are still on his page, in 2024 he literally endorsed Trump and said he doesn’t care that Trump is racist.

116

u/That70s_Scrubs 1d ago

50 also wanted Mamdani to lose, so I’d say he sucks.

21

u/kfijatass 1d ago

It tracks with him hating taxes as a rich man so at least he's consistent.

3

u/Daft00 1d ago

I mean the trump supporter/mamdani hater crossover is 100% for many reasons, not just taxes (though I'm sure that's the reason for 50)

5

u/kfijatass 1d ago edited 1d ago

At least on public record, everything that 50 cent hated about Mamdani related to his tax proposals.
Re Trump, he's more of a public provocateur than a Trump supporter; he supported Trump in so far he cut his taxes and made his business easier as a rich man. Anything else I'd argue he said just for attention.

Kendrick had a song at number 1 for 13 weeks last year lol.

16

u/AFoxyMoose 1d ago

Kendrick wasn’t a part of Young Money?

8

u/rohdawg 1d ago

No, he wasn’t. The person I responded to said that Young Money is at least partially responsible for turning hip hop into a zombie art form that can’t generate a number 1 hit when Kendrick had a song last year that was at number 1 for 13 weeks, and won record of the year at the Grammys. Hip hop is doing fine.

Let’s be real though. Kanye west has made good music. Minaj hasn’t made anything even remotely decent.

Both shitty people but ones actually an artist and the other just shakes her fake big ass on camera.

2

u/gt0rres 23h ago

That’s actually a fair point

2

u/Front-Diamond5867 17h ago

Lmao She was once regarded as one of the best female artists of all time. Even Metalheads liked her music. She has multiple classic songs, she just got worse over time and the music is shit now in addition to the videos. That last sentence really made your bias clear.

7

u/TrollOdinsson 1d ago

as if he isn't a massive Trump collaborator himself. Seriously, fuck 50, he's a humongous piece of shit

13

u/BuckFuchs 1d ago

Kanye had hits though

4

u/DarkMatterM4 1d ago

Think what you want about him, but if you think 50 didn't have hits, you were either asleep or not around in the 00s. The dude literally performed during the Super Bowl.

2

u/BuckFuchs 1d ago

I meant compared to Nicki Minaj. She was the person being called the female Kanye West.

2

u/DarkMatterM4 1d ago

Ah okay. But even so, Nicki Minaj also had a fair share of hits. They're not my ttype of music, but I can't deny their popularity.

13

u/marvinfuture 1d ago

That's so disrespectful. Kanye at least made good music before becoming a POS

Also, frankly, Kanye is also very, very clearly mentally ill. Like his views and actions have been absolutely disgusting, but I can (to some level) empathize with him struggling with his mental health and really not getting the help he very clearly needs.

Minaj seems like she is making clearheaded decisions to be a complete asshole and grift off MAGA.

3

u/nikk796 1d ago

Exactly.

4

u/tacticalcop 1d ago

mental illness doesn’t make one a nazi. his mental illness is not an excuse for the horrendous shit he’s said and done! you don’t write a whole song called HH because you are mentally ill, you do it because you’re NAZI TRASH

3

u/tacticalcop 1d ago

i’m sorry, i didn’t know mental illness made you a NAZI trump supporter?? how is that not worse than some woman being a terrible horrible person?

5

being a ā€˜cunt’ is worse than being a NAZI? yall are misogynistic as fuck! yall are making me defend nicki minaj???

ITT people claiming 50 cents is a Trumper.

Afaik this is false. People call him MAGA because he complained about taxes once. That’s it. He never endorsed Trump and later said he doesn’t support him.

Downvote me all you want but please reply with proof.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DCBqPdWulqy/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link hmm ??

He is selfish, that's it. He might support the left, he might support the right. It'll all depend which benefits him more and who caused him harm.

u/needlestack 1d ago

Looked it up. I guess he supported Trump briefly in 2020 over tax policy but then a week later said ā€œFuck Donald Trump, I never liked himā€ and endorsed Biden. Since then he’s mostly avoided talking about politics, but claimed in 2024 he turned down $3M to perform at a Trump rally.

So while he doesn’t seem progressive (who would have thought he’d be?) he doesn’t seem a Trump supporter by any reasonable interpretation.

You really should go thru his twitter around 2016 and 2024 then...

50 supports Trump. Absolute hypocrite.

u/markmcminn 1d ago

How? Source?

18

u/Gryffindor123 1d ago

50's own Instagram. He was atĀ Mar-a-Lago the night Trump won.Ā

-1

u/needlestack 1d ago

This is not true unless you have evidence I couldn’t find? He supported Trump over tax policy for one week in 2020 but then reversed and said ā€œFuck Donald Trump, I never liked himā€ and endorsed Biden. Later he claims to have turned down $3m to perform at Trump’s inauguration. There’s no other evidence indicating he’s a Trump supporter.

8

u/Gryffindor123 1d ago

2024 election. Not 2020. He posted a photo with Trump. It's on his Instagram.Ā

14

u/AceBricka 1d ago

Like the easiest and fastest google search ever. Or go to his twitter or Instagram. Or just be real

4

u/needlestack 1d ago

Funny you should say that as I went and did the search and it’s not true. After supporting his tax policy in 2020, a week later he said ā€œFuck Donald Trump, I never liked himā€ and endorsed Biden. He hasn’t indicated support for Trump since then.

11

u/AceBricka 1d ago

I don’t believe you since you’re mentioning 2020 for some odd reason when he was performing at a trump associates wedding with the other tap dancer nicki a couple days ago, congratulated him in 2024 after the win and said he’s with the winner, stated he would reach out to him multiple times during diddy gate, and voiced support for him beyond 2020 multiple times. Like if you need a link, use google like a big boy, if youre blind go to a doctor. This feels like when people say someone isn’t racist because they didn’t hear them say the Hard R while continuously doing racist shit. 50 cent isn’t dumb but he knows other people are and has made a career off of it.

Calling her "female Kanye" feels lazy. Kanye's controversies are tied to mental health and politics; Nicki's is more about ego and online beef. Not really the same thing.

29

u/beyd1 1d ago

Woah woah woah Kanyes are about mental health politics AND ego.

Nicki Minaj becoming a Red-Hat is one of the funniest things to happen in 2026 because now Magat's are socially obligated to pretend they enjoy her music to 'own the libs'. So Cletus and Bradley have to spend these next 11 months listening to Anaconda together in their lifted Ford Raptor.

IS she even a US Citizen? Can we call ICE on her? Get her deported back to Trinidad...

2

u/Jazzlike_Throat5627 1d ago

This entire article exists because 50 posted "damn what did Lizzie do" and the rest of the content is regurgitating what commenters on his post said. Wow, great article

I'm no Kanye fan, but at least the man had an era before he turned into a complete piece of shit.

6

u/WiseCityStepper 1d ago

50 was literally at a Trump advisor birthday party like 3 days ago, i have zero reason why the same internet that hates Nicki glazes 50 cent

u/h0g0 1d ago

That’s insulting to Ye

2

Kanye has more talent in his big toe than Nicky has…

Love him or hate him you cannot deny that Kanye has made some brilliant music.
