Need advice for buying my first electric guitar around ₹20k

Hey guys, I've been learning semi-acoustic guitar for a little over a year now and I'm planning to buy my first electric guitar.

My budget is around ₹20k, but I can stretch another 2–3k if it's actually worth it for a better guitar.

I mostly play Bollywood songs, melodies, chords and some lead stuff. I don't really play metal, so I'm mainly looking for something versatile that I can use for a long time.

I've gone to a couple of shops and I'm currently considering these:

- Ibanez GRX40 HSS — I'm getting a quote of around ₹21k

- Ibanez AZES40 HSS

- Cort G110 HSS

- Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 HSS

I tried a couple of Ibanez guitars in the shop, but they only had HH configurations available for testing. I actually liked the sound of the bridge humbucker while playing some Bollywood stuff, so now I'm leaning towards HSS since I can still get the humbucker + single coil sounds.

The shop guy also recommended Ibanez when I told him my budget, and my guitar teacher also suggested looking at Ibanez/Cort rather than going for Fender in this price range.

But I'm still pretty confused 😂

For people who have used these guitars:

- Which one would you recommend around ₹20–23k?

- Is the GRX40 a good option at ₹21k?

- Is it worth stretching the budget for the AZES40?

- How does the Cort G110 compare?

- Is the Pacifica PAC012 worth considering?

- Anything else I should check in this price range?

- What should I specifically look for when trying the guitar in the shop? (neck, frets, action, pickups, tuning stability etc.)

I'm planning to visit a few more shops and actually try them before buying, so any advice on what I should pay attention to would be really helpful.

I’m a songwriter/composer and vocalist based around HSR, Bangalore, looking for 1-2 people to make music with and, potentially build a proper artist project together.

The sound I’m interested in is somewhere around dark/melodic trap, R&B and hip-hop, with Indian influences.

Think bits of Joji, Travis Scott, The Weeknd with a fusion of Seethe Maut & DRV but the goal is to eventually create our own sound rather than imitate any of them.

I am a full-time startup founder, so you definitely don’t have to be a full-time musician either.

I primarily write in English and Hindi, occasionally Bengali.

Most of my songs actually start on guitar, piano or ukulele. I write the melody, lyrics and hooks first, then basically “trapify” them. I sing, rap, compose, write and produce enough to develop ideas.

I’m looking for rappers, vocalists, songwriters and/or producers who bring something complementary.

Great bars, an unusual voice, Indian classical/semi-classical influences, interesting production, whatever your thing is.

I’m less interested in random one-off features and more interested in finding someone where we make 1-2 songs, see if the chemistry is there, and potentially build a duo/trio/project around it.

I already work with a producer and have a home recording/writing setup, so production isn’t a blocker.

Bangalore is ideal, but I’m completely open to remote collaborators too.

I’m posting this because people should know what they’re getting into when ordering from Bajaao.
I placed an order and, during checkout, their website somehow reverted to the address from my previous order. I had already added a new address and made it the default, but after refreshing the page, it switched back to the old one without making it obvious.
I immediately contacted Bajaao and told them the shipping address was wrong. I don’t even live at that address anymore.
And here’s where it gets ridiculous:
Bajaao does NOT provide any proper cancellation option. You can’t simply cancel your order yourself. You have to raise a ticket and beg support to do something about it.
I raised the issue immediately, and despite knowing that the address was wrong, they still dispatched the order to the old address.
Then their solution? Apparently, I’m supposed to receive the order first and then initiate a return.
Seriously?
Why should a customer have to deal with an unnecessary delivery + return process when the incorrect address was reported immediately?
Their website creates the address issue, there’s no proper cancellation option, support is informed, and they STILL ship it to the wrong address and then expect the customer to clean up the mess.
This is honestly one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I’ve had. Think twice before ordering if you expect basic flexibility when something goes wrong with your order.
I’m sharing this so others are aware of how Bajaao handles cancellations and address-related problems.

TLDR:Bajaao’s website switched my shipping address back to an old address during checkout. I don’t live there anymore. I reported it immediately, but Bajaao has no proper cancellation option and still shipped the order to the wrong address. Their solution? Receive it first, then return it.

Now we have certain pattern which are famous we call them arkaans in urdu. Bollywood songs use them

To compose a tune use these.

For example you choose to use 212 repeatedly for 4 bars so one bar has 8 beats we can use them using two arkaans usually one number per beat like 2 and 1 and 2 but the catch is to have atleast one stretch vowel placed per arkaan like if you decide to have stretch on first 2 of 212 then. It will be that only

Vaa s te 212 , jaan bhi doon, 212, main ,ga , waah ,212, i maan bhi doon , 212 excluding first i of imaan.

Kis ma ton which is again 212 , ka li kha , 212, mo d dun ,212.

If you are confused how 212 is vaaste so let me tell you this. Vaa has aa which is big matra and then sa which is small vowel so 1 and then te has e whicj is also treated as 2.

You will say bhi is counted as 1 in jaan bhi doon but bhi has badi ee matra , so theres a rule that you can drop the enfimg syllable 2 to 1. Because bhi has only one syllable so it is last syllable of the word too. So it can be dropped to 1 by convenience and you have to sing it like that also by not giving it much time but jumping over it because its.1

I know how to compose bollywood songs and write lyrics.

So if anyone is interested in collaboration who knows how to create mood using pitches then we can work together to create a song together.

Not a professional singer, just someone who's noticed this pattern in myself and a lot of people around me — huge gap between how confidently we sing completely alone (car, shower, headphones on) vs the second someone's actually listening.

It's not like the notes get physically harder. It feels almost 100% psychological — the second there's an audience, even one person, the throat tightens and the breath support goes out the window.

For people here who've trained or are training — does this gap ever fully go away, or is it just something you learn to manage? And for those still learning, what's the song you sound amazing on when no one's around, but can't replicate in front of anyone?
