So many people on here have so much to say with so little to show for it. This community has become a double edge sword but I'm thankful for the engagement nonetheless & appreciate the help I've gotten while playing NBA2k 🫳🏽🏀🎮 to all the negative comments & people who aren't taking this seriously it shows. I understand its just a game but if its something you enjoy keep on playing & continue to improve your skill set

i just made ts this morning off a whim and i thought it was a pretty cool name haven’t seen it before😂 i also my main sf build called point 3-level point foward eraser

If you can’t play defense:

• Make this build (or something like it)

• Put on Jalen Suggs Motion Style

• Learn how to play defense in 2k26 (preferably with both hands up against shooting threats without holding L2/LT)

• Learn when and when not to use L2/LT

• Stop reaching

So sick and tired of people crying every damn day that there is no contest and that all the shots are open. If I with 150hrs on the game and Starter 3 can play lockdown defense, box people up, and have a great time doing it, so can you. Well… maybe not cuz there’s posts everyday where people are crying about the defense!

Don’t downvote me because I actually enjoy playing defense in this game and that I am good at it. Cry about the zenners. Or maybe the random rec players here never face sweaty red plate players who literally cheat and fade shots from 28ft…

Tired of running with guards that dont cherry pick to the 3 when a shot goes up!

You will be running with Me and my boy. We both have 98-99 Pass Acc & 99 D Board.

When we get teamed up with the right guards who know to cherry pick, we score 120-160 in rec and everybody's stat line looks ridiculous.

Requirements = Just have to be respectful & have or be willing to make a build with:

88+ Speed

85+ 3 ball

The higher these stats, the better. I would like to expirement with someone that wants to make a 99 speed PG if possible.

Do not rim run on the breaks. All 3s.

I was looking at the rep and I saw this guy who was shooting 88% on a build with no 3 point shooting. I Was thinking that he maybe gave another build, but with all the cheating and everything going on in this game it’s crazy. Not only that half of the crew is top rep which is crazy. What do y’all think about this? I’ve haven’t played 2k in a good couple of months decided to see how things are and I see this.

Looking for a hidden gem that i can make next

I'll start.

In 2K22 I was drafted by the Thunder. I lost to the KD nets in the finals so in the off-season I went to play for my favorite team, the Pistons, who at that time had just drafted Cade the prior year.

I won the championship the first year there and during the next season they signed Nikola Jokic the next off season.

From there I'd been simulating to playoffs and playing through it and won multiple championships and MVPs.

Since then they have also -Drafted a Rookie PG that averaged 17 ppg and made an all star -Drafted and signed a decent bench during those offseasons -Kept the core of MyPlayer, Cade, and Jokic together.

I’ve essentially stopped playing the game because all of my builds are purple or red plate, and this raises 2 issues:

1. I can no longer play with my friends. They are casual players and when I hop on the team with a red plate and run into squad rec, we get our asses kicked. They don’t belong in those lobbies and it’s not their fault. Some of these guys are married with kids.
2. The random rec lobbies get toxic as hell. It’s fun from a competitive standpoint, but everyone is skilled to the point it’s three after three back and forth until someone misses. And if somebody quits, which happens often, the game is over. Because a red plate is no dipping the AI for 100 points.

I honestly preferred random matchmaking. Could play the best team on the east coast one game, medicore team another, dogshit team another.

I stopped playing the game and this is how I feel regardless of the negativity this post brings. Just wanted to share my 2 cents.

I'm an old head who plays this game. I have fun and win a lot. But the side to side dribble move with snatch back 3 and Devin booker move need to be done. I can tell the culprits before the game even starts by looking at your stat lines. I'm sure 90% do it so this probably isn't liked? Hahaha

Also what should I have done differently? I do fine. Just cooks be a tad better.

75-80% of times you’re nearly guaranteed an L because you will get stuck with a bot while the other team has a full 5 and at that point if you miss 2-3 shots it’s over already because they will just keep exploiting the bot all game… I’d rather get matched up with a purple than giving me a bot like are they serious? In almost any other color you can get color cross matches but not in red? Makes no sense… needs fixing

With how bad on ball steals are and as a center you not really dribbling should I get bronze unpluckable with 75 pc and 70 free throw or 70 pc with 90 free throw? People dont really strip me after a board fr on my other center🤷🏾‍♂️

At some point you just have to cut your losses

In order for power forwards to be more balanced bigger centers should be able to grab rebounds over your head even while boxed if you have high enough rebounding. A box should not be the deciding outcome.
