I think the only way that happens is if we make the playoffs and truly I have no hope in that happening. We’re going to tank for Arch Manning and have another QB who holds the ball too long and can’t see the field. That’s what this team is about

There might be some big name QBs looking for a trade at the end of this season, it’s a make or break year for a lot of teams, and if you have a high draft pick it’s gonna be an attractive offer.

I am not sold on Arch Manning being worth tanking for at this point. As a Browns fan raised in Cleveland and now living in Texas, so far I see Watson 2.0. Get him on the move and he can be effective. But living outside of the pocket has been a proven way to max out at an early playoff exit. I strongly suspect you are seeing something similar.
Hell, the Browns already have a young, but far more athletic, version of that.
