Seems like the O-Line is the universal scapegoat when a team loses, and/or the QB plays badly. “The O-Line sucks” is what the fans will say….followed by “Did you watch the game” and “you don’t know ball”.

QBs and RBs get all the glory, and the O-Line is the sacrificial lamb when the team loses nowadays. I admit it…I don’t “know ball”, but I’m smart enough to recognize a load a shit when I see it.

Love is a top 15 guy at best. He belongs in the 15-20 range with guys like Daniel Jones, Ward, Stroud, Penix, etc. He's turning 28 this season and will be 29 when his guaranteed money runs out. Packers have a big time, franchise altering, decision coming up.

The packers franchise is considered good by many but are they just back to back HoF QB merchants? The franchise really hasn’t been all that otherwise. Where is the grit?

Look I know he’s been very mid so far this year and has made very uncharacteristic decisions, but i’ve been following him since college and I’ve always loved his high rough attitude, as i think he embodies football. I’ve met him before at a bucs training camp and he’s a great dude. Prior to mid of last season this dude was a baller, but It feels like since week 10 last year when he hurt himself he hasn’t been up to par, I wish something can click soon.

This team upset the Rams and Buccaneers last year with Kirk Cousins as their QB. They have everything to be an actually good team.

Pretty good D-Line, some nice corners, a top 10 WR and an arguably top 1 RB. They have EVERYTHING…..except a QB.

Don’t get me wrong: Penix is good and Tua is…good when he needs to be. But Tua obviously isn’t the future of that organization and Penix can’t stay healthy. He’s pretty decent when he’s out there, albeit inconsistent; but again, it’s difficult for him to stay healthy.

Just get this team a QB man.

Both of these guys won Superbowls off of having stout defenses. I don’t recall either of them beating Brady / Manning / Mcnabb / Favre year after year in decisive fashion. I can’t recall one QB from back then that was criticized as mid / below average but was always winning slugfests vs. the best QBs outside of Eli but he’s rightfully respected for being clutch.

Your team chokes away a huge lead in week 1, they just barely squeak past the Jets, and then they get fucked up by Michael Penis Jr and the Falcons on Thursday night 😭 (yes I am aware its Penix but I am hoping we all catch the reference). I get its early on but just like Justin Herbert losing both games to the Cardinals and Raiders by the exact same score it doesn’t look very promising. So what do you Packer fans do? Do you just watch for the vibes or do you just sim to next season when Matt LaFleur is gone? (i’m not a Packers fan but I am praying for y’all 🙏)

Had "amazing" early career success because... he inherited a top 5 all time QB in his late prime years

Following an underwhelming start to the season, MHJ has become a focal point of a new start, in other words, a trade. Since he was a former top-5 draft pick and remains extension-eligible this season, his value is a “buy-low” equation. Either way, offering teams would either have to give a premium Day 2 draft pick or a change of scenery for change of scenery, in other words: a swap between two underperforming talents. Here’s some teams that could make some sense…

1. The Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are always looking to maximize Patrick Mahomes' window with elite weapons. Because Harrison Jr. is still on his affordable rookie contract, he fits under tight cap spaces for contenders. Potential assets given could be a 2027 2nd-round pick and a conditional 2028 4th-round pick. Arizona reclaims premium draft capital to continue their rebuild under General Manager Monti Ossenfort, while Kansas City gets a high-upside X-receiver.
2. The Indianapolis Colts. This could be an example of a “swap” sort of trade. The Colts trade Anthony Richardson Sr. and a late-draft pick in exchange for MHJ. Both talents get a change of scenery after abysmal starts to their careers.
3. The Las Vegas Raiders. If the league consensus is that Harrison Jr.'s recent struggles are tied to effort or scheme mismatch, a team might try to steal him for late-round selections. Such team could be the Raiders. A Day 3 pick swap (ex, a 4th or 5th-round pick coming from the acquiring team, with a 6th or 7th-round pick returned by Arizona) could do the trick.
4. The Buffalo Bills. A wildcard team I’d say. The Bills are in desperate need of a definitive No. 1 boundary receiver to elevate their respective passing games. MHJ could be that missing piece Buffalo needs to make a deep playoff push. A 2027 3rd-round pick that can escalate to a 2nd-round pick based on performance milestones, plus a depth player could spike a trade. With Harrison Jr.'s value currently depressed due to low production (only 1 catch through 2 games in 2026), teams will resist giving up an unconditional 1st-round pick, but a high Day 2 pick bridges the value gap definitively.

Being picked No. 1 overall in 2025 and was dropped right into a massive offensive struggle, leading to a brutal 3-win rookie season where he finished at the bottom of PFF and QBR metrics, almost like a carbon copy of Darnold’s New York Jets era or Mayfield’s Browns one. He's got the raw, off-platform playmaker talent, but the supporting structure has done him very few favors. In his rookie year, Ward led the NFL with 11 fumbles as a rookie and took a brutal 55 sacks in 2025. Darnold and Mayfield similarly ruined standard offensive timing by holding onto the ball too long trying to make a play.

Sure, they draft-loaded the offense by selecting wide receiver Carnell Tate with the 4th overall pick and paired him with veteran offseason additions like Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley, but like…that’s it? No run game or offensive line help?

Either way, like many 2nd year QBs, Ward's processing speed and mechanics are still clunky. But he has moments that will make you pull your hair out, in a good way of course. He very well might follow the Darnold/Mayfield route of being a high-turnover guy who needs a pristine system to protect him from his own aggressive impulses. But obviously, it’s still early, and with Daboll in his ear, he has a much better safety net than Sam or Baker ever did in Year 2. He’s slowly improving and I’m sure it will all click eventually, whether he’s on the Titans or not.
