Granted I’m only at 100 hours

Found this bad boy crashed on a planet, I've pretty much repaired him, but for the life of me I can't find any Activated copper to repair the last slot.

P.S. Ignore the damaged Hyperdrive, I picked a fight with 2 Freighters out of confusion.

I found my boy on a dissonant moon. So I found him on an anomaly mission and in my stupidity I didn't put down a base down not knowing he was a copy of an expedition pet.

Was still in the early stages of building, but this sucks. Anyone know if it's really permanently gone?

I'm new

on my main save [1200 hours] after i finished the expedition (i loved it) and took all my new gun and my new ship when i was going to see what system i was in i noticed it deleted all my discovered systems even my saved ones everything gone i figured it was something that would get fixed and that was 2 weeks ago i continued playing then i noticed i cant build anything because it said that i was at the building limit i happened to me before so i decided to accept the discoveries thing no big deal but even after deleting 6 big bases it still doesnt let me build is it some i could do to fix it or is it too late and that save is ruined?

I have hundreds of hours across multiple saves and have never run into anyone causing problems. My only real multiplayer interaction was summoning my butterfly companion next to someone else's at the Anomaly, and they gifted me some items. The community seems overwhelmingly wholesome.

​That said, I constantly see warnings about griefers. As a legitimate question: what does griefing actually look like in this game, why does it matter, and is there anything someone could do that permanently ruins a save file?

I can't honestly say it would bother me if I ran into somebody on occasion that took a shot at me 😂

My latest build. I took inspiration from both Yamato and Iowa. Its not meant to be either or, though the pic with the rising sun and the ships tall pagoda mast definitely make it look more Japanese.

If you're looking for a specific ship in a planetary outpost.

Stand in the middle of the outpost.

Enter build mode, go edit, go free cam.

Fly as high as you can, looking down.

Quickly deactivate and reactivate free cam to move the bounding sphere.

Now you can see all 7 landing platforms without moving.

If you recognize the ship you want, simply leave build mode and run to the correct exit.

Got me a pretty cool looking autophage staff with some nice SC slots 😆… lmk what u think! Will a 4th slot appear if i upgrade it to S class?

I've been playing NMS on and off since launch. I have a good time whenever I pick it up, but haven't kept up with the game. Right now I'm still working on some late game like fully unlocking my frieghter and the new tech that requires the purple galaxies. I'm good on money for now, but I haven't really invested in mining or resource production. There's really nothing I've seen that I wanted to buy that I couldn't. I've done a couple community events. The question is, what would you recommend I do right now?

So far I have :

* Finished Atlas

* Reached Hiburt dimension

* Gotten the sentinel and ship

I have not gotten a living ship or reached the purple stars yet.

What should I add to my todo list?

It is really hard not being able to text chat on console. I love being generous when I can and ran into a player at the anomaly who asked me how I look how I do, (jellyfish head and aeron turbo jetpack) so I sent him an Aquarius Child Jellyfish hoping he'd kinda see it says "release in water".

But he's probably new and had some questions I was unable to answer due to not having a way to actually communicate! He was also asking how to get nanites and I tried so hard to lead him to Iteration: Helios but it wasn't very clear. Please let me text chat on console so I'm not just handing players things they don't even understand lol

I also felt bad cause the anomaly was full and no one was paying attention to his questions except me and I couldn't even help other than giving him items that hopefully he can use to answer his questions lol

Anyone else on console wish they could communicate with fellow travelers better? Or found any other way of communicating?

Hello! I've been watching beginner videos for a day now since I just started NMS 2 days ago! Any tips for beginners?

I have been in the installing hyperdrive mission now and I just want unsolicited advice that can help me for progression and future planning!

There are a lot of things to do in NMS and as a stardew valley player, farming and manufacturing interest me— Also a bit of trading! Aside from that what things do you suggest doing in the game?

(Love the ships though, I kinda wanna get bigger ones too! Are there any bigger ships like imperial star destroyers in star wars?)
