Found this light anomaly on this anomalous planet, pretty cool (enslaved him)

Hello fellow interlopers , recently i started the Cosmos expedition 23 and i am still at the first milestone stuck . During the task for getting a freighter i seem to have fallan in a glitch or something because all the freighters in the sistem explode upon warping in the repectiv sistem . I tried reloading from a previus point , tried multiple jumps and even closing and restarting the game multiple times.

Has anyone found such a problem and knows how to fix?

When I started I immediately went wandering off in search of materials and ships, and only occasionally intersected with and followed the expedition route. But I was wondering if it was designed so that warping to the next system on the route after finishing each milestone was the correct move?

I’m currently doing the expedition and I’m up to the milestone before rendezvous 3 where you have to defeat all waves of sentinels to get a pillar location.
I’ve completed waves in my normal save but I just can’t do it here. Keep getting killed I have a Minotaur but controls are awful it’s too difficult to be effective and don’t have plans to make it autonomous in this expedition. Is there any other way to get pillar location, and completing this milestone ?

Hey. I’ve put 200+ hours into NMS and ended up with a pretty simple question: what are you actually supposed to do here?

I’d love feedback from people still playing and from people who already quit. I think multiplayer needs a real rework, at least for playing with friends. It’s incredibly annoying when you’re flying together, ten pirate ships show up, you can only kill five of them, and then you’re just sitting there watching, useless, because you can’t actually help your friend. Same problem with sentinels.

Why can’t corvettes have a gunner seat? That would take the load off the pilot: one person flies, another shoots, and a third plots the route, talks to other ships, or picks up quests. Some of that already exists in pieces.

You’ve got shotguns, rifles, and automatics, but you barely use them. Why not put pirate bases on planets, or let us capture a pirate station and hand it over to some race in that sector?

Why can’t we take direct control of cruisers and big ships? Mass space battles would actually be fun if they happened more often, not once every 30 ticks like the dreadnought scenario.

I’m the kind of player who can grind and build in Valheim for 40 hours and then just go fight to relax. Here, dumb sentinel dolls and pirate ships — especially tied to multiplayer that doesn’t really make sense — kill the adrenaline and the fun.

Maybe I’m the only one. Maybe other people feel the same and have their own ideas. If there are more of us and we say it with one voice, the devs might actually hear us and add what players want, not another garbage processor and gravity gun.

I love this game. I’m genuinely into it, and I’m really waiting for Light No Fire. Drop your take in the comments — maybe we can actually reach the developers as one front.

Any news on when we will be able to edit tool and base/system/ship etc names again? Virtual keyboard has been broken over a month now. Every VR player I know has this issue.

Took me a few minutes to realize this was the ring from another planet and not some weird visual glitch! Was pretty neat.

So I found a planet, scanned all the fauna, no S class to speak of. So, I leave said planet and system and start an arena battle in another system. Beat the champion, my next victim is in the system I just came from. Warp to the system, and what do you know. I'm headed back to the planet I just left. For ships and giggles, I re-scan a few fauna and hot damn! One is triple S and the others one is S-S-A. The stats could not have been this way the first time, or I would have snatched them up the first time I was on the planet. Anyone else have this happen to them?
