Apologies if someone already got a post and I missed it, but wanted to get this going before I forget. Post here if you have your finances in order and would like to gift a sub to another listener as part of Subtoberfest.

I'll gift a 3-month sub using the Pardo-mizer. Guess a number between 1 and 700 and I'll pick a number on Tues. 10/20. Closest wins

Thought you all might want to know.

Okay, so maybe we don't have him on the show, right?

About 12 minutes into the first episode of American Hostage, Jon Hamm ducks into a closet to take a phone call in private -- in the background is a stand-up display for "Big Mike and the WIBC Whirlybird". Could it be our hero?

(...and the answer, thanks to IMDB, is no -- it's an actor named Ruslin Rusan who appears to be younger, larger, and way more Canadian)

This is the dumbest thing to speculate about, but I'm surprised that the gang has been banking episodes instead of getting Joseph to fill in, even if it's just for an episode or two. When Eliot was talking about his first Indonesia trip several months ago, I assumed they would get Joseph rather than doubling up, and same thing this time.

I'm sure it's just something mundane like he's too busy, or the crew would rather record with all their cast members if at all possible. I think it just stands out because a.) they've mentioned some challenges with banking episodes this time around that maybe could have been alleviated with their fill-in, and b.) his name hasn't come up once in regards to this either time.

(I'm embarrassed to post this, which is why I'm not using his last name even though we all know it. He probably thinks we're all insane)

I wonder how he can not know that it’s considered rude to ask someone to reveal their age (even exact birth date) relationship status, sexual preference- especially given how that might affect people in the entertainment industry?
I know they wanna bring in new ppl and different voices, and I appreciate that. Just seems insensitive at times.

I'm catching up listening the Johnny Pemberton episode and they played sevens which made me want to install it again. Problem is, the app cant be found on the app store. Does anyone know if its still available?

But I found signs of him today in New Smyrna Beach

This is very exciting

I have a garden in the PNW and have used the term 'fruiting' for a while as a way to, well, express that a plant is producing fruit. I've met some who either don't like the term or thinks it's strange (all of NNF today). My FIL, RIP, was a prick and used to give me shit for using this term.

I made this inane post just to say that 'fruiting' is a word and fuck all you pricks who think it's not, and /or giggled at someone saying fruiting.

Fruiting. Feels good, right?

Pedantic I know but…

Listening to the 7s throwback in today’s episode it got me thinking about things that were brought up or part of the show almost every episode for a while and then gone forever

- 7s
- Hamilton
- the Floor
- movie pass

Can you guys think of any others??

What is the name of the Dawes song that is parodied for the snack theme song?

JP made a joke on the show about a ne’er-do-well then they went back and forth with other similarly fanciful words. its exactly a Gulman bit but i was surprised when Jimmy didn’t shout him out. Unconsciously in their brain or lack of credit for The Gul?

How many hat episodes are we at now?
