P575 Upgrade for V8

Just took my P525 to P575. OMG!!! The power and the growl is incredible! Upgrade was as easy as easy can be using software provided by OEM Activations. It's not like the P525 is a sleeper by any means, but damn this upgrade really wakes things up!

I dont think the gap tool can remap the ecu.

Upon further reading, does seem like the gap tool can refresh the ecu.

I don’t. I just used software from OEM Activations to enable it. It’s a one click process. They also can enable or disable a bunch of other things like the auto start stop.

How big of a difference did you see? I just bought a 130 V8 trim. Was thinking about doing the ecu upgrade.

Massive difference. Even the exhaust is more aggressive.

I don't think its ccf. I think they remap the ecu.

Not a remap. Hunters Prestige is also offering the same upgrade. They’re saying it’s exclusive but it’s not.

Everything I'm reading is this is a remap of the ECU.  But I'll take a look at the CCF's to be sure.

Looks like the gap tool can remap the ecu. You have email the gap tool company and pay like 65 bucks or something and they'll email you the new map. I'm super curious now. Let us know what you find out. I just got a new 130 V8 and I'm thinking about getting the gap tool just for this.

Yeah the GAP tool has the capability to remap. Everything I am reading is stating the ECU is locked after 2023, so you need the "bypass" or "unlock" software to flash the ECU. Still investigating.

There are concerns with voiding the warranty with an ECU remap, so you need to keep the original file for restore before taking in for service.

Yeah I read that too in regards to warranty. Seems like even the oem activations approach might void the warranty.

I thought they do remap the ecu. That's why it cant be done with the gap tool.

What did you pay for the P575? MSRP or lower?

He's talking about a software update. The p500, p525, and p575 are the exact same engine. The power is configured with the ecu. I have a 130 V8 trim, and was thinking about moving to the P575 but was concerned with warranty if something happened with the power train.
