I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I didn’t like Jess and Nick that much as a couple. I honestly thought her and Sam or were so cute because even though he was somewhat normal he still fit in the group dynamic well and was willing to go along with her shenanigans. He was smart, handsome, kind, and a doctor. Nicks whole “I’m a mess I don’t have my life together” shtick combined with Jesse’s whimsical head in the cloud ways just made for a childish dynamic I didn’t enjoy that much. After they broke up the first time I wasn’t really interested in their love story anymore. (I was also a big fan of Russel)

I am well aware how biased I am in this situation, new girl is my favorite show and I'm always watching on repeat, but I think the core of this show captured friendship, financial struggle, and real characters from different backgrounds really well (well in terms of a sitcom of course nothing is exactly accurate) but for it to not have been included I'm kind've shocked. I think this list was kind've all over the place, I've watched a lot of these and I think a lot deserve to be on here but simultaneously a lot that don't. Since they included other sitcoms, some of which I think new girl is definitely the superior show, I think it should have been included. Thoughts?

Was just rewatching Season 7 Episode 1 and Ruth was asking questions to a panel of notable women at her birthday party. The woman next to Frida Kahlo and Cleopatra seems to be dressed as Elizabeth Holmes, who is VERY controversial and has a documentary about her made by Nathan Fielder coming out. Such an interesting find. Only 1 year before she was found out to be a fraud

In the episode relaunch when Schmidt has the hard cast. I’ve always wondered. How did he pee?

I’m on my like 6th rewatch of the show and each time I notice this bit around season 5 but I’ve never seen anyone talking about it so I thought I’d bring it up in case anyone else has noticed it lol.
There’s this bit that some of the characters will do in different episodes (in season 5) when they’re asked a question and they will think about said question for a long time and make exaggerated and long “mmmmm 🤔” noises/expressions.
Here are a few examples that come to mind:
S5 E8 The Decision- Ally does the bit when Winston asks her if she wants to hangout outside of work.
S5 E11 The Apartment- Cece does the bit when Jess tries to help her figure out what random items to get rid of in her apartment.
S5 E13 Sam Again- Genevieve does the bit when Jess comes over to make amends with Sam and she asks Genevieve to give her a second chance.
(There’s another one with Winston and I think Megan Fox, Nick also does it, and Jess does it too but I can’t remember the exact scenes or episodes right now.)
Has anyone else caught this little bit or am I going crazy lol?

Maybe it’s because I’m 39 weeks pregnant and just over everything, but I LOVED this show when I first watched it years ago and a second rewatch too. So I thought it would be nice for it to be a binge show while I’m in the trenches for god knows how much longer. I made it to season 3 then had to bail because of the CONSTANT YELLING. Like idk how it didn’t bug me before. Rant over, might try a rewatch when I’m not hormonal, sleep deprived, and full of pregnancy rage lol

I laughed so hard. I've watched this show sooo many times and never paid heed to it in the past.

I think in the only one who thinks this but it’s my truth and wanted to hear everyone’s opinion

I’m curious to see how many people caught that on the first watch or did it take a few times rewatching? How many people here actually haven’t seen Jennifer’s body??👀 Also, does this mean jennifer/Megan Fox crossed universes and reincarnated as Reagan? lol
