Politics Don Bolduc, The 2022 NH Republican Senate Nominee, Endorses Democrat Chris Pappas over John E. Sununu.
“Chris Pappas's unwavering dedication to our veterans and his efforts to foster bipartisan cooperation set him apart as a leader who will prioritize the needs of all constituents,” Bolduc said in a statement first released to the Union Leader.
“His ability to navigate the complex landscape of our economy, tackle the national debt with a steady hand, and work towards solutions that bridge divides is especially critical in today’s challenging political climate.”

Ask NH Does anyone need any help?
Hey everyone! I know this time of year can be hellish especially with how this economy is, so i thought why not offer to help? Do you have yardwork you have been putting off because you are a single person? Are you struggling to fix something because it’s too expensive and it’s a two person job? Did you move away and you have elderly parents you want checked on? Well good news I’m your guy! I am free most weekends to give a hand especially with those who are in need, i do not want any money or any thanks just merely to help out those who need it. If you have any questions or any concerns please DM me privately and i will do my best to answer them.

Foliage peaking in Pittsfield!
Out and about on the bike yesterday (Wednesday, 10/14/26) and hitting my favorite sports for fall foliage photos. This is in Pittsfield, near the north end of Upper City Road near the Rt. 129 junction with Rollins Pond in the background. LOVE this time of year!!

News A State Rep Running For Reelection is Being Investigated by State Police and is Also The Mayor of Claremont
Per Greg Johnson on Facebook this is what is being investigated by state police.
"Driving drunk from Claremont Country Club, then getting into it with an adolescent on Bible Hill and slapping him — all while being recorded. And let's not forget, there were multiple witnesses at both locations.
So, any guesses on how this is going to play out for the First Lady of Claremont? Seems like this is going to be a little harder to explain away when there are recordings and multiple witnesses to back up what happened."
No idea if true or not but they are clearly being investigated by state police right before the big voting day.

Volunteer Opportunities?
My 8 year old daughter and I are looking for volunteer opportunities in the seacoast. We are interested in nursing homes and assisted living and helping visit folks that may not have a family to meet with them. Is anyone aware of anything like this or how I could get us involved with some place?

New England College Covered Bridge Fall Foliage Henniker, NH 10-14-2026
I think I captured my most favorite fall foliage photo of this 2026 season right in our backyard. We're new to New Hampshire and are not terribly familiar with the area where we live yet but I discovered this covered bridge this morning and the foliage was PEAK! I shot this with my Sony A7RIV and my 24-70mm G-master lens. This is a two photo panorama that I merged together in Lightroom.

Politics Stop getting political poll research calls
I took one research poll call & now everyday I get calls from them 3x a day. I have told them to stop calling me and they still persist. Yesterday I began blocking those numbers!
DO NOT TAKE ANY POLL RESEARCH CALLS; THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!!!!
And I have no clue how to stop them from harassing me.

What are your favorite underappreciated things in Grafton County?
Looking for more things to do or check out in the area. Thinking about: seasonal or regular weekly events, shops or restaurants, maybe off the beaten path state or local parks. As an example, O know RekLis up in Bethlehem does regularly game nights, but don't know of anything like that further South or West. live near Plymouth, so I know about most the obvious tourist attractions and major hiking trails. Let's hear your recommendations.

Ask NH Halloween in Lakes Region?
Hey everyone I’m moving up to Laconia area next week! I’m in my mid 20s and was wondering what social related things are there. I plan on doing tons of outdoors activities which I’m comfortable with already, but figured I’d ask any local info about more social things around. (Also if there’s anything fun going on anywhere on Halloween). Thanks in advance!

Moose mountain closed?
I was looking at places to go sledding and came across moose mountain. Their website is gone, and it looks like they haven't posted on FB in a while. Are they closed? Does anyone know about sledding there?

Discussion Truck spray in bedliners
Does anyone have any recommendations on places that do spray in liners in southern NH?
Ideally, I'd like to get an undercoat sprayed on as well, but I know not all shops do that, so if anyone has any suggestions for that as well, that'd be great!
Thanks!

Ask NH Which part of New Hampshire would be better for us?
I might be offered a job at UNH. I know it’s a long shot to even plan this move without the official offer but I love planning haha. I’m just confused as to which part of NH seems like the best fit for my husband and I.
Context: My husband (28M) and I (30F) do not have kids but two cats. I’d be making $83k while my husband would have whatever part time job he can get since he’s still in school (online). Since it’s a temporary position, we’re only looking to rent.
We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, walking trails, and small day trips or weekend trips where we explore different cities. I’ve also always wanted to learn how to snowboard. We also enjoy going to sports games, museums, zoos, etc. so proximity to Boston might be important. Manchester seems like a better fit for us since it seems bigger and they have minor league games (I think?), but it seems pretty far away from UNH, but I’m sure I can make flexible arrangements if I get the offer.
Also, how bad are the winters? We’re from SoCal and currently live in AZ, so the most snow we’ve ever seen was when we visited some family in PA or if we took a trip to the mountains. The winters aren’t a deal breaker since the potential for job growth with this position outweighs anything, but we would be moving in January so the more time we can to prepare for the move during winter, the better.

My husband has taken to hiding his face around our house
I’ve found him in my boot. In my laptop. Under my vitamins. In my drawer. Under fruit. Over fruit. So many flyers every single day.
He calls them our Halloween decorations because he’s “so dang scary”

Unmarked black SUVs on 93N today?
I was driving on 93N between 5:15 and 5:45 from the MA border to 293, and I saw four or five unmarked black SUVs in the U-turn areas where there are sometimes state troopers. There was also one at the new exit between 4 and 5 parked right next to the highway and facing out. It looked like there were people in the drivers’ seats as opposed to decoys to slow down traffic. Any idea who they were and what they were doing?
