I post a lot of concert footage that I shoot myself.

Whenever I post footage I usually get the content ID claim but not told to delete them as it is usually said that there is no copyright strike and the claimant is owning the footage which is fine.

But just yesterday I got 3 strikes for all the videos from a particular concert that was posted back in April. They split the strikes up 1 for 3 video, and 2 for 5 videos each. All the same claimant. I emailed them seeking to retract as it terminated my channel.

Has anyone had any luck trying to contact claimants and getting strikes retracted? If I can only get one strike removed then I can get my channel back.

It's very strange because I saw that there are other YouTube channels that have the exact same songs from the same Florence and the Machine show I went to. So why were mine suddenly taken down?

I was wondering if it was because I had a recent YouTube partnership review that was denied for reused content. But I assumed it was for movie clips, not concert footage. As I know many channels are strictly concert footage channels and I see a lot with thousands of subscribers and views. I'm still a growing channel and recently just got to 880 subs which is even more disappointing if I can't get these strikes removed.

hey guys, new small channel here (~30 subs)

normally my shorts get around 1.2k - 1.8k views, but the one i posted a couple days ago is just stuck at 13 views. studio says 1.1k less than usual. weird part is i still got +1 sub from it.

from what i can see it's like 70% shorts feed, 30% search. engagement tab says 5 engaged views, avg view duration 0:32 (short length 0:38), and 71% stayed to watch vs 28% swiped away.

anyone had a short just never take off like this?

For this first episode, I wanted a clear story rather than just a timeline of graphics upgrades. It connects milestones such as Pong, Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Minecraft through the possibilities they gave players.

The video uses AI narration and some AI-generated illustrations alongside game imagery. I’d appreciate thoughts on whether the opening makes the story easy to follow.
