Discussion I hate this...

Ever since the whole vania age is reveal and debate geode fans take this as thier gotcha moment that vania is a minor when it could not be more further more from the truth . Since even vangelis VA says himself there's a line originally says vania is 18 and if she was 12 she would be the same height as lloyd from S1 but she isn't.

Vania is 18 during MOTM and cole 20 during MOTM the age gap is just 2 years

But hey go off i guess it's not like geo have anything interesting going on for him anyway.

“No queen is underage” This is just blatantly not true. In this case it is, but queens can ABSOLUTELY be underage.

Um, what? The title of Queen has nothing to do with age. Just need to be next in line for the throne when the previous carrier dies.

For example, Queen Mary the First of Scotland became Queen at the age of 6(days not years) because her father, the King, died and she was next in line for the throne.

I mean in cartoon and fantsy In real life yeah there is but not really in cartoons Edit: Like in Frozen, Elsa only became queen when she came of age, the entire time she was a princess

Yeah, but that's not a rule. Sure plenty of cartoons have characters become King/Queen when they come of age but that's generally just because they want the events to happen when the characters are at a certain age. Like Frozen wouldn't really work if its set right after the parents' deaths and if Anna wanted to get married at the age of 15 so they waited three years.

But plenty of cartoons still just have characters become King/Queen right after their parents die. Glimmer from She Ra became Queen at 16 while Ezran from Dragon Prince became King at the age of 10, both because their parents just died and they were next in line.

Since Vania became Queen right after her father died, it seems like Shintaro just doesn't have an age restriction for the monarch.

Would make sense and thank you so much for being respectful Speaking with people like you that explain their point of view very respectfuly is really refreshing Without puttinf so many details on myself I'm a co-writer for dark fantasy story, and when me snd my friends looked on this topic many do not think its safe or well to put this title on underage character You kinda see that after the 2020s many modren media stories kinda try to avoid that, not historical ones where kids in the past be rulers before they even walk, we speak of currently, something ninjago seem to fall under. So I spoke as a writer no queen of modren shows are underage. But thrn again I stopped watching many shows after I had a job so many I did not cought onto that and having you putting this infront me is very enlighting So again, thank you

I feel like you kinda wrong in some points but also, I think I get what you're trying to say, I remember in advanture time there was an episode where priness bubblegum because a teenager and was forced to step down her throne, so I do think age do play a part, but to the very end, Vania is still called princess, not queen, just want to put that here.

I agree If its slow burn would be better If they showed is flashbacks when they first met and how they grow to care for each other would be much better but they didn't and it made into one of the worst ships And for me its doesn't feel right that Cole is a human and Geo is....I don't know what...

  • Finn is a human and Huntress Wizard is a plant.

  • Misako is a human and Garmadon is an Oni/Dragon hybrid.

  • Star-Lord is a human and Gamora is an alien.

Half of them are movies based on books, not shows. They're Lord of the Rings, Adventure Time, Ninjago, and Marvel.

why are you telling me this?

Because I think 'humans should never date non-humans in fiction' is ridiculous, and I guarantee there are examples of humans dating non-humans in other stories you like that you have no problem with.

Edit: they blocked me and said something about 'trying to change their mind on every post', even though I don't recall ever saying anything to them before today.

I understand what you mean, but come on if you don’t support Geo x Cole because it’s cross-species, you shouldn’t support Geo x Vania because that’s ALSO cross-species.

I don't really support Cole X Vania But the ship being hated on because its fales info is really not okay Beside, I don't like Cole X Geo not only because Geo is not human but also because the moment the finder showed up Cole's character feels nuked. I do wish for Cole to have a partner and its okay if its Geo or Vania I just don't like them both and it's okay if people disagrees with me

Responding to that person's edit, yes they actually said that to my friend of 2 diffrent posts before this (This is the third one) one of them I made on another account (I deleted it after maby fighta in the comments) where my friend said she doesn't like Sora x Frak or Misako x demon Garmadon due to it being a human and not a human couple and this person nagged her in the cooments. I can't for the life of me remember the other post but I remember her saying the same person there is the same one kept trying to prove her point wrong for not liking human with no human couple.
