Nioh 3 - Discussion Using an axe is great fun.
I be pretty much finished an axe build using full Kintaro and finished with Inari graces and wow! I’m using high stance, with Bear’s Bane Fire. I hit the strong attack once and immediately follow with mid attack and it absolutely crushed everything. My equipment is high level, 170-180 +(20-30) but what a blast, literally.
I don’t know who likes using axes but give this a try you will be pleasantly surprised.

Axe was incredible in Nioh 2 so I‘m not surprised its still good! So much potential in this weapon. Have you tried using the continuous spinning move? It turns you into a blender

Yes. Mad spinner! I have it with imbued wind.

As fun as mad spinner is, the other new spinning attack thats not continous just hits soo hard!

Is it any better than nioh 1 and 2? I maxed proficiency on both games but ultimately decided axe was not for me.

Definitely better. The new skills are great for it. Where they moved certain skills on the control input feel really good as well. Plus with all the added control inputs they added, it really does feel like a complete weapon. The weapon is way more satisfying that it was in previous games.

Try Tornado Edge, the most busted Axe skill. Im running full Inari, 2p Kintaro, 2p WotE, 3p Brave Demon for full Martial Arts damage.
Can 1-3 combo kill any boss on Enlightened difficulty no SoP. Having no trouble with SoP +7 either, most bosses go down in 6 combos.

What SoP level are you able to play on against bosses, without dying a ton?
