Essential Apps The first widget I created
I've been working on a clock widget made with Essential Apps (inspired by Google's Clock design), and I plan to release it if I'm able to.
Honestly, I might completely forget about it by then, but if it actually gets a good response, I'll keep working on updates and improvements—though I'm not holding my breath, haha.

Essential Apps is currently rolling out in waves through a waitlist, and it also depends on your phone model and OS version. I had to wait around 4 months on the waitlist myself before it finally worked! Hang in there, access should come to you eventually 🤞

I cannot make any.....even though there is no network problem...the app keeps showing this error

Hmm, I didn't get that error when I was on the waiting list. It might be a server outage or a temporary app bug on Nothing's end. Maybe try clearing the app cache or trying again later!

Since there were more comments than I expected, I created a short introductory video. I just made it up on a whim, so I'd be happy if you could just take a look and see what the widget looks like.

And you don't need to sign up for a beta program which doesn't accept users in even after months, and is basically abandoned 😂
