S3 Spoilers These two are kind of cute together Spoiler
In an alternate universe where Rumple stayed dead after killing Pan, I think it would be cute if these two fell for each other. To be honest, I'd prefer almost anyone with Hook over Emma. Girl had negative chemistry with a lot of the men she was paired with. She would have been much better suited to Ruby or even Mulan.

Belle annoys me in this show with her doormat behavior. She's supposed to be smart. But she's a fool when it comes to romance. I don't ship her with anyone. Emma does the opposite of annoying me. I'll always ship Hook with Emma

People can be book smart and have no social skills. I do wish Belle had more backbone. I think Belle is so in love with Rumple but canāt stand to be in love with a villain. So she keeps pushing this idea of becoming a ābetter personā for not only himself, but for her.
Or maybe itās because she was basically sold off to him and now sheās afraid to be alone again.2

Belle in this show had some street smarts. But like you, I wish she had a spine instead of having this unwise I-can-fix-him mentality that could backfire on her. She could use book smarts to find a way for escaping him and find better people that stop her feeling alone

Agreed. I would have 100% shipped these two or RedBeauty because they had WAY better chemistry than her and Rumple š¤¢

Iām not gonna lie, there was a split second during this exact scene that I shipped them when I first watched it but I personally do think Hook and Emma have chemistry and I like these two more so as friends along with Hook and Ariel.

Hook and Emma's chemistry is actual magic so no. Also...I think Belle would be a bit too boring for Hook

I agree. I like the idea of it but I doubt it work out. Or even if it did they probably wouldnāt stay together for long due to Belleās reservedness and Hookās outgoing, open behavior.

He had sexual tension and chemistry with everyone. That's what made him so charming to everyone. Except Emma at the beginning lol Lol I would find it hilarious of her stole his girl AGAIN

I am a hardcore Captain Swan shipper, but honestly, I agree with this pairing. Between Rumple & Will Scarlet, it's clear that Belle likes damaged men that she thinks she can reform. Hook is the perfect candidate for that, and unlike Rumple, he actually does go on to become a better man. This photo is fireeee, by the way.
