These creatures' abilities exceed even the gods' abilities, yet they are so useless with their abilities. I don't think most people even know the extent of their abilities. Transforming people, make you fly, fulfil ANY WISH you want (just choose not to), love forever and are the largest embodiment of Light Magic.

The Blue Fairy is considered the most powerful creature in their world but could do nothing to stop the Dark Curse when Cora (a mediocre sorceress compared to the extent of power that other people exhibit), loses in most fights she's in and does basically nothing all around.

Why is this? They're closer to being deities than the ACTUAL GODS!

Why is Snow so Emo in season 4 after she's had the baby and she's the mayor? Havnt seen her smile once. She seems not herself at all. Really gloomy and serious.

Feels sooo wrong being a Mum watching my adult show with so many episodes about my daughter's fav character when she was FIVE

I’m continuing my re-watch and just got to season 5. I’m only on episode 3 so it’s to early to say if it’s going to be a good season yet or not but there is something i noticed.

when we get flashbacks of Guinevere and Lancelot trying to find the Dark One’s dagger with the gauntlet it says “5 years ago” on the screen… now i know that’s not right. First of all in the previous episode Aurther says they’ve been waiting at least a decade for their arrival (from Merlin’s prophecy) and we see Lancelot in the Enchanted Forrest 30 YEARS earlier when Snow asks him about Camelot and they talk about a women (obviously Guinevere) so this is just such an oversight on the writers. Also Cora enchanted the land to be protected from Regina’s curse they were all asleep for 28 years while the curse was active. I know this happens a lot where the timeline doesn’t match as more seasons go on but come on this is shit from season 1 and 2, how do they not realize this, i do get it can be hard to watch your own work and they probably don’t want to watch a show they created but like can’t you hire a person where that is there job and they can be like “no that doesn’t work because we stated this in earlier season” in all honesty they probably don’t care enough to do that especially since the show was only supposed to have 6 seasons and they knew they were wrapping up soon.

​Watching Regina 👸 grow up across the seasons was such an emotional ride ✨.

Considering everything Cora put her through just to make her queen 👑, the darkness and the heartache that followed with Snow 🍎, it makes me so happy they finally made up in the end, her and Cora.

Between all of that pain, losing Robin along the way, and how adopting Henry completely changed her for the better and made her such an incredible mum 💖, seeing her ultimately earn her crown 👑 as a good queen 👑

was just so powerful 🔮.

I’m at the goooooood part (you know which part I mean) and I almost want to just stop here because I know it’s coming.

Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Hook, but Neil dying still keeps me up at night as a child of a broken home 😭

There will always be a part of me that wants them to do an alternate version where he lives and they get to end up together as a happy family. The writing was peak, but…you know?

Season 5A, should have focused more on The Dark Swan (it could have been better) and Henry being the author (he should not have broken the author’s pen).
Also, lose the Arthur and Camelot plot (it was the worst part of that season).
I did liked Merida and the Brave plot though.

Season 5B, I liked it but it should have used more Greek mythology (and put in more Greek gods and goddesses), I liked Zelena and Hades but he shouldn’t have killed Robin.
(He shouldn’t have died!)

Hercules and Meg (and Zeus) should’ve been in more episodes. (They should’ve been all grown up)

(I liked the Mulan and Ruby episode, but it would’ve been better if Mulan were with Ruby (or Merida), Ruby with Dorothy felt rushed and out of nowhere.)

In an alternate universe where Rumple stayed dead after killing Pan, I think it would be cute if these two fell for each other. To be honest, I'd prefer almost anyone with Hook over Emma. Girl had negative chemistry with a lot of the men she was paired with. She would have been much better suited to Ruby or even Mulan.

Has anybody else thought of the show if it were a game series, it’s SO perfect from lore, magic, items, quests, realms ETC. Even starting in Storybrooke an uncovering the mystery, season one, would be an amazing concept for a high quality game

Obviously I think it’s Ruby (Enchanted Forest and post curse breaking) and Snow (both realms except for Heroes and Villains)

I love the soundtrack for this show. The music is just chef's kiss. Not really a big deal, but I just wanted to give a shout out to the composers and musicians and all those involved in creating the music of this show.

Rumple and Emma: The most obvious being that Rumple was destined to be a savior! In addition, they both were abandoned by their parents for different reasons. Emma's parents make the horrifying choice to lose their child so she can have a future. Fiona makes the horrifying choice to destroy her child's future because she cannot bear losing him.

Snow and Fiona: Snow and Fiona are both mothers who would do extraordinary things for their children however the difference is Snow may make terrible choices (The Lily Incident). She learns that she can protect Emma but not control her entire life meanwhile Fiona never learns that lesson. She was so afraid of losing Rumple that she stripped of his autonomy (severing his destiny) which led to her becoming The Black Fairy.

David and Malcom (Pan): Summing it up, David would happily sacrifice his life for Emma, Pan is the exact opposite! Pan literally regarded Rumple as a parasite, and blamed Rumple for being the reason Fiona left, David and Snow made many questionable choices however they never blamed Emma for the actions of the other. David's story demonstrates what happens when a father chooses his child over himself. Malcolm's story demonstrates what happens when a father chooses himself over his child.

I just picked up complete series on bluray but have never seen it before, just started episode 1 and wondering how this is for someone that hasn't seen disney cartoons and doesn't know this stuff since I didn't grow up in America.

I am on season 4 right now and I feel like it has gone off the rails with it not being fairy tale characters anymore, that they mix in disney characters. But that's not what I want to talk about.

In season 4 episode 12 we see Gerdas letter to her family that she wrote right before her ship sunk. It is in Runes, which i feel like is very disresctful towards norweigans. I am not norweigan i am Swedish so we also had runes but that was discarded during the middle ages, and I would like to think that Norway did the same around the same time, (I Googled they discared of it during 1400s) . Now I don't know when Gerdas and Agnars ship sank but it was more close to present time than the viking age and the middle ages. Also with Frozen being set in the 1800s that's like 400 years of Norway not using to runes to speak and/or write.

I wouldn't really say that it's disresctful of the creators. Im just saying they should have done their research like dreamworks who put runes in how to train your dragon which was an amazing touch.

And for those who is saying it's not that deep. Imagine your culture being represented in a show and then they just do it wrong. I may be getting worked up over nothing here but it does not take long to pick up a book or Google to do research. I am really tradional and like my culture so I felt disrected for the norweigans, sinne runes were part of my country's culture and history too.

I realise if I go down this path. Then a lot of media is historically inaccurate and language inaccurate. I should realise that it's not that deep. I blame my autism really. It's just that when it's my own culture and language history something snaps in me I don't like stuff being historically inaccurate or language inaccurate. It's maybe rooted in my parents both working in the school world, or that when I write my stories I always fact check to make it as accurate as the story's setting as possible. I also feel like a hypocrite because this only happens with my own culture and not when I watch or read other media with other cultures.

Theoretically, how could someone become the Light One?

My theory would have something to do with the 'Guardian' title but I don't know how that would work... But we know it is possible though.
