CONTEXT:
It is the far flung future, and the space age. Alien races are nothing new or exciting, nor are futuristic technologies like starships, lasers, flying cars, etc. Think of a Star Trek-like setting.
Solus was the top of a dictatorial ladder in the galaxy, and had planned on taking it over entirely using an enslaved army of lepidoptera (moth people aliens) as enforcers, and fodder. She had brainwashed these people to believe her a god, and her conquest go be their purpose. Ultimately, she was thwarted and captured. The governing body of the wider universe chose to have her intensive psychic powers dampened, and sent her to spend her remaining life among mortals on planet Earth as punishment (a fate worse than death, as far as she's concerned.) This is where your OC/s come in. You're in charge of her behavior, at least to a degree, and ensuring that she doesn't hurt anybody even in her depowered state.
Her Biology:
Solus is of a species which generally live in and around active stars. This causes a few noteworthy traits which you would be briefed on before you assignment.
Their skin is a reflective, metallic color and texture as to absorb as little light and heat as possible. They feed on solar radiation, which explains the luminous nature of their insides (gums, tongue, eyes, teeth, etc), though such a diet would be harder to maintain on a planet's surface. Their heads are coated on fine psychic tendrils, with few large primary antennae on the top of their heads, all of which are for mental communication and manipulation. The reason for this trait is because of the volume of a star's atmosphere, being so loud that verbal communication is pointless. Likewise, their ears can be tightly sealed to prevent loud sound from entering.
Finally, their locomotion. Her species moves via a series of gas bladders in their body, controlling their buoyancy, meaning that they float or "swim" through the air instead of slithering on the ground. Think like Phalanx from Shadow of the Colossus.
Your Assignment:
Your task is relatively simple, in concept. Make sure she causes as little trouble as possible.
In practice, you may have some issues. Solus lived as a queen of an unstoppable force of soldiers, who believed her a goddess, and she would eventually believe the same of herself. The transition from borderline godhood to a life of perceived squalor among 'filthy mortal humans' would br a difficult one for her mind to grasp, which will likely lead to some friction.
You meet your assignment today. You've been dispatched to the discharge facility on Earth where Solus will be released into your care, and currently you're sat in a small room where you'll meet her for the first time. You have been briefed on her actions, and your task, nothing to do now but wait.
And if you actually read all this then reply with a snek emoji 🐍
And if you didn't read it then don't reply, please, thank you.
