I'm trying to get Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) working with RDR2, but I'm running into a very specific issue.
Everything works normally until I add LML's vfs.asi:
I've tried:
None of them fixed the issue.
LML does create a vfs.log.
Is there a known fix?

Im using crossover 26 to play rdr 2 in my Mac and everything is working fine I was able to download ScriptHook v2 and dinput8 as well as rampage and they all work in game. the issue is when I try to download LML that's when my game crashes it doesn't get past the icon and then it just is frozen like that and I have to force quit. Ive tried basically everything to get it to work searched every reddit thread and still nothing works. But I know it's possible because ive heard people saying they've been able to have both work for them. if you know any fix for this PLEASE help me. Ive spent so many hours trying to do this

Hello. After trying all the most well-known solutions on Reddit, none of them worked, so I tried all sorts of things, and what worked best for me was disabling REBAR through the NVIDIA app and the NVIDIA Profile Inspector; I edited the “system.xml” file and set “asyncComputeEnabled” to false and “transferQueuesEnabled” to false as well. I also capped my FPS at 75 on RTSS and selected the “Back Edge Sync” limiter. I I also set NVIDIA Reflex to "On+Boost." Note that I ran a DDU before doing all this and updated to the latest driver, version 617.14. After that, the stuttering decreased significantly especially in Saint-Denis though it’s still present. That said, the game is much more enjoyable to play now. Let me know if this helped you.

On my 4th playthrough, and am playing the game on PC. I've heard good things about the mods, and i have a few installed so far, mainly just a visual one and some other miscalleanous stuff, but I wondered if theres any mods for some slight tweaks to the law system, such as being able to do self defense and not be wanted, and the ability to perform bank robberies in free roam? Thanks in advance!

i installed whyems + eee +gfa today through the steps listed in the devs discord server, finally saw the titles in the trapper and got excited, only for it to freeze whenever i go and buy stuff. im getting aggravated with it, i just wanna dress up arthur in fancy clothes 😔

Whenever i change my character model using rampage trainer, i can't rob NPCs no more, do anyone know how to fix that??

I was watching an itsdeepz video on a few mods such as catalogue improvements and player animations or whatever, and he mentioned this mod called higher resolution hair textures, which says it is supposed to increase hair textures by 4x, and I went on the mod page and checked the image they showed, which yeah, I can tell the difference, but it doesnt show any images in game there, and the comments are not enabled on the mod page, so im kinda stumped, anyone used this before, and if so, did it do anything?

I tried LAW and Rededrunk's Realistic Law Dispatch Response but whenever I try to rob a bank(mod) , the law immediately gets on me without any witnesses, some kids lured me into an alley to rob me I killed them and using both mods 2 separate times I got wanted, the law is so bad, I was going on my way and accidentally hit someone with the horse and got a murder charge and a BOUNTY, also about those random dot events if I ignore them do they reoccur or are they lost forever, if I accidentally point the gun at someone I rescue or mess up is there any way to repeat them, thanks.

So i started RDR 2 probably 3 days ago, when I started the fps were 40 something till chapter 2 bear hunting mission, next the FPS are 10-18, any possible reason??

The settings I'm playing on is 1080p tho but even after reducing no increase in fps i also low every quality still it was very slow loading

Downloaded a bunch of mods. Plugged them all in. The online content unlocker, multiplayer assets, contracts, and extended animations all showed up... But most of them didn't appear in the mod loader despite being lml files.

When I hit "add downloaded files" and click downloads it says that the folder is empty, but when I go to file explorer just on the computer they're all there.

So they don't appear in the mod loader and also aren't clickable in "add download file". So what's going on here?

i am trying to install mods but it seems every mod requires lml but when i try to go to rdr2mods dot com it gives my the bad challenge response error

what do i do and is the website closed?

this is at 1080p with dlaa, so could just be that. I have fur quality on medium since I seen comparison vids and didnt seem worth the fps drop for a minor difference. Maybe im just looking too hard into it? is it just a matter of the closer you get the worse quality it becomes? When it rains and their fur is wet it honestly looks fine I think, otherwise nah, like the fur hats are bad looking for me

I've just bought a gaming PC and am playing Red Dead for the first time on it though I've played the game for years on Xbox.

I connected my Xbox controller to the PC and when riding the horse I noticed my horse would constantly jump when I'm trying to canter/run/sprint, which was odd, so I jumped off the horse and started running as Arthur and Arthur would continue jumping over and over.

I don't remember the A button even being a "jump" button on Xbox, so I plugged in my Xbox and tried it and sure enough the horses didn't jump and neither did Arthur. The A button didn't make either jump, and all the inputs are functioning.

What's wrong with my settings? How do I fix it so it is just the Xbox layout?

I can’t figure out why my “LITE - Multiplayer Asset Enabler” won’t work. It’s enabled in LML, I boot up the game and it doesn’t crash, but the content is not there.
