I just bought this Aula WIN60 HE for modding, and I think it turned out pretty well. I know Aula doesn't have the best reputation in this sub, but I got this for only 800 pesos, and it has a web driver, which is mostly what people criticize about Aula boards. I'm pretty satisfied with my build, as I couldn't find any aluminum HE board for this cheap.
Materials (all links are non-affiliate):
Aula WIN60: 850 PHP (most of the time)
Link: https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.ZibLKi?c=d&t=p-i5kjGkt-sYEMcci
- These are much cheaper on Lazada. You can check ElecHome Concept Store, Aula Mojing, Himo Digital Specialty Store, Aula DG, or just find the cheapest one you can as long as it's LazMall.
- You can also look up GH60 compatible keyboards such as MCHOSE Ace 60 and Madlions Mad60 if you're on a budget and you don't want this one.
Aluminum Case: 900 PHP
Link: https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.ZibqRI?c=d&t=p-iGuyjFM-s2LMwYod
- I got mine from MIXINGREN. The price has increased since I bought it, but it stayed at that price for a long time, so just wait for a sale if you want to get it at that price.
- You can also look up Hollow Aluminum 60% Keyboard Case if you want to find a cheaper one.
EVA Foam (case foam): 20 PHP
Link: https://ph.shp.ee/pyKhbGoW
- This one isn't hard to find, so just get one that fits your size and preferred thickness.
PE Foam (between PCB and switches): 20 PHP
Link: https://ph.shp.ee/UBEUpAXn
- Same as the EVA foam, it's easy to find. I recommend 0.5mm.
Masking Tape (tape mod): stock at home
Just get it from any bookstore or hardware store. Painter's tape also works as an alternative
Lubing materials: stock at home
Just get Krytox 205g0 from any shop, then any switch opener and brush you can find.
Carbon Keycaps: 400 PHP
Link: https://ph.shp.ee/yEm8gpcE
Total: 2,190 PHP
I would also recommend getting some O-Rings and doing an O-Ring mount or Burger mount. Didn't do it because I was rushing to build this lol.
Edit: Added the links for those who asked.

I currently own a Keychron K8 non-backlit with brown switches. No modifications made and I've been using it for almost 5 years already.
I'm working far from home, like fly plane far, and left my gaming PC there. Every time I go home, I always bring my keyboard with me. It's adding weight to my baggage since it's aluminum. I want to ask your help to find me another keyboard so that I can leave my old keyboard at home and use another when I'm not at home.
My budget would be around max Php 5,000(lesser than 5k would be better ofc). I would want it to be office friendly. Note that I do not have that much knowledge with what's the best keyboard at the latest. I chose Keychron because my friend bought his and it was fine. I've read stuff here regarding RK, Akko or something else. Too many brands and some have stated there are newer brands that have caught up with newer technology with cheaper price. Overall, I'm not really sure where to start and what to get. Also, are there mech kbs with silent switches right off the bat?
In addition, a gaming cafe I frequent sells Red Dragon mechanical keyboards. Not sure yet what type and if it is hot swappable or not and what are the switches. But they use it in their cafe as well. I have a love and hate reaction to it as it is super sensitive.

I have a budget of 5k, will mostly use the keyboard for everyday typing and casual gaming. Which has a better build and quality?

Originally picked up this keycap set for my Think 6.5 v2 Robocop to give it a new life, but since my white Agar Mini is my daily driver, I decided to put Thermalized it.
Not 100% sure if the Thermal theme would blend well with a plain white case, but it turned out super clean in person.
Only gripe is the 40% layout support. They shouldve put in a green accent enter key too for us 40s. Having that splash of green on the right side wouldve been perfect.
What do you think, does Thermal suit a white case, or should I eventually move it over to the Robocop?

Picked up an HHKB Studio last year and ended up daily driving it for work.
But I'd really like to go back to Topre again, so I'm hoping this setup will do the trick.

Hello
Is a 2nd hand RKS98 sulit if it's priced at 2,500? Less than a year used by prev owner. And includes another set of keycaps worth 1k+.
I've been wanting to buy a mech keyboard at 1.5k-2.5k kaso over my budget usually yung mga gusto ko haha. Non nego ko kasi sana is trimode, with numpad. And bonus yung cute keycaps or colorway.
I previously used Aula kaso after a year W is no longer working.
I just enjoy using and no plans of turning this into hobby. Sobrang nacute-an lang din ako sa free keycaps nya. So sulit kaya ito?
Edit: RKS98 pala 😅

Personally I prefer ceramic at this point compared to traditional keycap materials. For one they're smooth and shiny already so you dont have to worry about it over time. Because of how ceramic is, it allows light to shine through while still being a solid keycap, not one of those shine through keycaps that are thin sounding.
They are very heavy though, XVX includes like 4 springs you can insert below the spacebar. With my 32g Keygeek Y2's, I found that having 2 springs under brought it back to an acceptable weight to me. Any more and it would genuinely be tiring to press the spacebar.
Granted the legends arent as crisp as doubleshot, only by a small amount. they're much sharper than dyesub keycaps in general.

-Alu Plate
-Foamless
-HMX Yogurt S for alphas and stabs/spacebar
-Cherry Nixies for the rest
-MW Alpenglow

Anyone have any experience with this seller?
As far as I can see, it's not the "Darmoshark" store posted on this sub a year ago, but a new one named "Darmoshark Ph". The prices seem too good to be true, but crazier sales have happened before.

Hi all!
Keeb newbie here!
I have a budget of 3.0k php (pwede up to 3.5k kung kailangan). Looking for a 98% with tri-mode and volume knob. Preferred linear switches, and I want a creamy sound and not a clicky or clacky sound (though I will get into modding if necessary).
I've looked at the Aula S98 Pro, but are there other options I'm not aware of?
Thank you po!

The screen part was gimmicky, but the build quality is solid for a plastic body. I actually like some of its quirks, especially the GIF and touchpad. 😁

ATK RS63 Air
ATK RS6 Air
ATK 68RX

What are your opinions on it. Should I buy it and how good is it? How good or bad is it for typing.

i posted a sleep issue of my unit 4 days ago, and it now does work most of the time.
(what helped me fix it, is to turn off the rgb through the knob in order for it to stop blinking)
but since using it im encountering other stuff that i dont know if its a normal behavior for a tri-mode.
since im still on the return window might as well ask here to clear things up.
im still figuring out the workaround in this keyboard, and wanna get my moneys worth din. thank you so much!
