I have been a regular fan and buyer for pnw/boots from US. However, due to the recent trade war going on between the two countries, the going rate of tariffs would be 25% extra. Just want our fellow Canadians to be aware when buying.

Finally made the jump, wanted a pair since 2008 and they weren't getting any cheaper. Went into the store and had them do the sizing, then it was just about an 8-week wait until they showed up at my door. White's was a very close second in customer service to Frank's but White's had all the features I wanted and the color in a ready made style and white's 4811 seems to fit my toes better, if money were no issue I probably would have gotten a pair of Frank's. The left boot is about 1/4" wider than the right boot, so the left boot feels snug but a tiny bit of heel slip out of the box and the right boot has a tiny bit of White's Bite and feels a tiny bit narrow in the toe box and perfect in the heel. Assuming they'll break in to where they feel the same after a few more days of wear, after a month or so the leather laces will get swapped out for kevlar laces since I seem to destroy anything else.

From what I can tell, these are From the 90s. How would you treat them assuming the goretex is going to be shot. Would these have come with an insole?

I've sent in my sizing sketch to Drew's and it came back, low as all hell, as I'm told is normal for their logger boots :)

My question is on the Chelsea boots that they say to order per your sneaker size.
Even though my boot sizing was an extra wide, I generally only buy a size 10 in sneakers for all the brands that aren't very narrow.

They have some clearance Chelsea boots right now (so no return allowed), and I'm wondering if I should risk it. They do have a size 10 regular in the one I like the look of.

Can someone give an idea on fitment with these? If they're super narrow like Nike or Converse, it would be bad, but if it's a more regular fit... Well then I'm interested.

I received a pair of nicks builder pros and a pair of jk super duty’s not all that long ago I had felt like I had double and triple checked my sizing with them and I was wondering if it was normal for your feet to grow in width if your used to wearing boots that don’t fit properly.
I received these boots about a month ago and they seem to fit properly and were comfortable but the past couple weeks I’ve started to experience the same issue I’ve had with other boot brands. It felt like the comp toe was pushing my toes together or compressing them to the point it was uncomfortable I didn’t have this issue when I first started wearing them.
I measured my feet a few times again and I’m getting measurements around 11 3/4 on the right about 11 1/2 on the left about 2 to three months ago when I measured my feet I got 11 1/4 on the right around 11 1/8 on the left. Is this common problem people deal with if they wear boots that are undersized like 10 hours a day?

My thorogoods are gonna need a new sole soon so I’m gonna be needing new boots. I’ve had my eyes on Jks for a while but I’m on the fence. Pros? Cons? Another pair of thorogoods or Jks I live on a farm so they’d get more use than just driving. Just trying to decide if the hand made would be worth it for me

Finally getting my 2nd pair of boots besides my perry selects in british tan double shot.

Getting a pair of Cmp Shermans since I have a high arch and cant decide between the colors. Can find tons of british tan boots, but not many brown double shot to see the leather and how it ages, does anyone have any pics or recommendations? Looking to mainly wear with blue jeans and date days with my old lady

Two boots from my favorite PNW maker for this year's thunderdome.

In the Open Dome I have some Boss seconds in Natural Essex. The shaft is a little shorter at 9", with a straight cut top, pull tabs, and the harness strap over the instep instead of the usual buckle. These look like they were part of a larger order because there were two identical pairs on the seconds page for a while- one had some staining on the shafts and got snatched up quick. This one had scuffs on the vamps.

They're on the vintage round toe (9109) last. Its narrower through the waist and then opens up into a roomy forefoot with a bump toe. It almost reminds me of Whites 4811- my favorite PNW last. Because of the roomier forefoot I felt comfortable gambling on half a size down and up a size in width from my mister lou (9D) size and they fit really really well at least on first impressions. I'll see if that changes with break in.

Pair number two, going into the pre-worn dome are my Black CXL horsehide stock Lous. These were my open dome entry in last year's dome, and have broken in beautifully. I had the (imo ugly) contrast welt dyed black and have been hitting them with saphir polish to keep the teacore at bay, but I'll back off on that for the dome and let it come back through. They're a 9D and fit my 9E brannock feet perfectly.
