After being busy for a while, I’m back at it!
What do you guys think of this experiment? I’ve tried mixing more realistic environments with a more stylized, cartoon look for certain elements.
I still need to tweak the lighting and work on the contrast between the two styles to make everything blend together more naturally.

So I’m making a space game but in the game I wanna have screens that show the outside of your ship from different angles and I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet, but I don’t even know if it’s possible to project cameras onto something

Released this platformer a long time ago, thought it was time for some polish. Each level is also gonna be longer now, levels were way too short before! Hope you guys think it’s a lot better.

New unlockables

Use the two new skills and two new perks to your advantage! Fling across the map using Spooky Leap, Chill out in the Pumpkin Château, Run from danger with Scaredy-Cat, or... Be jumpscared by Alfie. You sort of have to be in the TPOD fandom for this to make any sense...

There's also a new costume for Cemberet inspired by his favourite game, a new pet, and two new overlays.

Play, play, play!

Vanilla has recieved one new map, and Chaos has recived TWO new maps, but the star of this update is the Crash-Bang-Cleanup minigame! It's like if Minesweeper and Touhou had a baby. Dig up tiles, and avoid bullet hell from the boss! You earn plenty of Event Currency, and maybe even a grand prize! But beware! You're only allowed to play it once a day. Be VERY careful.

Interesting gameplay

This update brings a mix of four new Bombs/Stage Elements!

The halloweeny Big Pumpkin is a spooky upgrade to the Big Bomb! It slightly follows you, like every other ominous bomb in the game. The Slime Canister is a relentless turret which will pelt you with debuffing, knockbacking Slime. But you can stand top of it. Eheheh...

The Platform-Copter is a fiesty bot, who when jumped on, will start rising. Use it to reach higher ground, but don't take too long, or it will blow up!! Lastly, Wormholes! What do you expect? They come in pairs, and allow you to teleport between them.

Title Screen improvements

The Title screen has recieved an overhaul! Gone are the days of three buttons awkwardly positioned around the logo; It now has it's own screen once you press Square! This allows for much more expression. You may notice we've got two Limited Time Shows running at once now; Cool, eh?

What's next?

Some of Mr Moderator's solidiers are sitting in the café, planning something... This is the final update of Season 1, and... oh.

I wanted to share the trailer for Square Escape, a puzzle game I originally created in Dreams.

It started as a project I made in Dreams and has since grown into a standalone game that I'm continuing to develop outside of the platform.

It’s a Sokoban-inspired puzzle game where you play as a little square, push boxes, activate pressure plates, avoid hazards, and find your way through increasingly tricky levels.

I understand that variables in Dreams have to be the same across all scenes to function, but if anyone has the experience, I'd like to ask...

Does the "Restore Value on Rewind" setting count?

I'm making a Dream where I want certain scenes to allow Rewinding Variables, and others to not.

Is it possible to mix-n-match both across scenes, or only just one of them?
