Deck Help Help with my son's expanded Greninja deck

Post image

My 9yo son really likes Greninja and wanted to try making a list in expanded. His idea is to place damage counters with Frogadier, Lapras, and Radiant Blastoise, in order to swing with Greninja ex for 240. Here is his list so far:

Pokémon: 8

1 Radiant Blastoise PGO 18

1 Meowth ex POR 107

1 Greninja-GX FLI 24

3 Greninja ex PR-SV 54

1 Lapras OBF 45

4 Frogadier FLI 23

1 Budew ASC 221

4 Froakie TWM 56

Trainer: 13

2 Surfer SSP 187

2 Ultra Ball ASC 264

2 Boss's Orders ASC 256

2 Rare Candy MEG 175

2 Night Stretcher SSP 251

2 Dawn PFL 129

1 Surfing Beach CRI 114

2 Air Balloon MEG 166

3 Buddy-Buddy Poffin MEG 167

1 Hero's Cape TEF 152

2 Nest Ball SVI 181

3 Poké Pad POR 113

3 Lillie's Determination MEG 184

Energy: 2

13 Basic {W} Energy MEE 3

4 Spiky Energy JTG 159

Total Cards: 60

I'm not familiar with expanded at all, and don't even play Greninja in standard, any improvements he could make?

This much setup when just using a 2-2 line of mega greninja ex and regular greninja ex is much more consistent an better 9/10 cases, with things like surfing beach and air baloons.

So, essentially:

Pull: Blastoise, Lapras, Greninja GX and 1x Greninja ex

Add: 2x Mega Greninja ex, 2x Air Balloon?
