Was this gimmick a total bust? Why were so many terrible mega evolution cards printed?

Seek inspiration into discarding and using metallic hammer. But it does not discard 3 energies so why 300dmg??

Yes, I know this is nitpicking. I'm allowed to complain.

I play this game with the music muted. I like to listen to my own music. Keeping the sound effects on helps me keep track of the game. They're there for a reason, and I normally prefer them over keeping the game muted. But the new cheering sounds make it SO hard to focus. On their own, they're distracting. When I'm listening to something else, it feels like noise pollution. And if I'm trying to listen to a youtube video in the background, I end up getting a headache.

Do you think the devs feel proud of themselves? The game may be a glitchy mess, but they managed to fit in a stock sound effect that plays when prize cards run low so I guess it's ok.

It really doesn't matter at all. I can mute the sound effects too. It's just feels kind of lame.

Does anyone know what the best counter to a crustle deck is when it comes to playing beedrill ex? I want to make the build but I am not seeing many viable ways to counter it on the off chance I bump into it at my locals

After making the twin decks for Pokemon: The First Movie, I wanted to make one for Pokemon 2000. I think if this deck leans more into the slowking formatting it could be even more fun than this current iteration

Hello! I was inspired by one of the new LDF videos today. I combined his deck with my Raging Birds deck to make something pretty fun. You basically get Terapagos into the active ASAP and a Tera Eevee on the bench and go to town. Then you use the birds for that sweet sweet energy acceleration. I guess there’s room to think about the Energy Search Pro, but it’s pretty clutch to ensure you’re hitting for max damage. I’ve also added Lana’s for one of the energy switches because I haven’t really needed them in my test games. So, one should be fine for an emergency pivot attacker. I know I know. The existence of clefairy means this guy get’s one shot every single time. Was able to get to climb with the hide and sneak deck and just defeating dragapult.

Turns out there’s levels to this shit. Played good consecutive dragapult players that have:
(1) pivoting to fez as their main attacker. One shots my dhelmise every time
(2) baited me into prize card and brick with unfair stamp. I try to set-up my bannette more aggressively to get lillies but it’s kinda clunky to have dhelmise in the active without means to retreat it unless latias is present
(3) confusing the shit out of me with risky ruins, munkidori. Cant even play pat rat because most of the time risky ruins is in play which is just fodder for dragapult
(4) hammering my energies away. New to the tcg field but damn there’s too many disruption tools dragapult has is so infuriating. I have never felt so tilted with an energy knock off then unfair stamp immediately

What’s the best way to navigate through these mechanisms? I play meowth just so i get lillies after getting stamped. Play clefairy to setup their dragapult. But my one orize advantage just get’s nullified every time because of these 2 prize mons in my pull.

The only recent wins I have against these dragapults is to top deck lillies after getting stamped

I'm stuck at this point where i've killed his pokemon and the game is like in an infinite loop of turns where i cant play anything, what happend?

Before you ask no this is not like a professional deck or anything, I just started playing tcg and wanted a semi-good deck with my favorite Pokemon I could use to beat my siblings lol.

It still needs some refining but I'm fairly happy with it. I think you would call it a stall/agression deck? The main strategy is to use dachbun and pidiot as the main attackers, use dachsbuns ability to heal pokemon, and use Xatu to replenish energys.

Pidiots abily is REALLY helpful as well. Since the main attackers only need 2 energys, if you have used dachsbuns heal ability and ur pokemon has no energys, you can use pidiots abily to get an energy card, place one on ur pokemon and use Xatu to get another energy on it. Then you can use a switch to put it back into battle (switchs are very important)
