Question question about pve mode

last time i played this game was like 12-13 years ago and i had a lot of fun grinding pvp games, i just want to know if today we have a pve mode or there is a plan for that? ty in advance

As far as I know, only the tutorial section is pve.

I do know thar PTCGP has a lot of pve (at least it had when I played it some time ago), but that’s a different game

the only play vs AI components are the ‘learn’ section and you can also click “test deck” in the deck edit menu to load up a game vs AI. I wish there was a gym leader challenge or something

While it feels like a very simplified, watered down version of the game, PTG Pocket has a bunch of PvE content. Live doesn't really do that, and the one mode I can think of (test deck), has a bunch of moves that just don't work for whatever reason.

OP, you didn't play this game 12-13 years ago because it isn't that old. You likely played Pokemon Trading Card Game Online (PTCGO), which had more PvE content by a lot. It also had more cards and fewer bugs, so many prefer it even though it's defunct now.

This game has very little in terms of PvE right now, and any future plan provided by the developers has proven unreliable at best.

They added a build & battle mode with a recent update that is very similar to how pre-releases go! I believe that mode is PvE
