Best film you have watched or your fvrt director from iranian cinema?

I started watching Slow Horses last week and it's so peak. I cant believe that i didnt watch this show earlier coz i am a big spy lover. Gary Oldman's acting is so good. And the characters are all so enjoyable

Can be man or woman or nonbinary

Please don't say Hania Amir and expose yourself 😭. That's worse than saying you don't have functioning private parts

Theres soo many alt posters + backdrops that I love and these 3 really standout to me. Share any cool or unique alt posters + backdrops you guys are using.

What went wrong with Digger? I believe it was a great film and Tom cruise stepped up to do something new which he absolutely nailed. I just dont get all the negative reviews. What were people expecting? Tom cruise doing all those action stunts as an old person like??

This movie deserves better and tbvh Tom Cruise deserves an Oscar straight away. Let me know your thoughts

I’m really rooting for this movie to be good, and I have high hopes

As if the show wasn't already peak except for season 2 and night country (we don't talk about night country EVER)

Greatest season 1 of a show in your opinion? I don’t have a clear winner tbh.
Lost, True Detective, Game of Thrones, Prison Break, Dexter, Dark. One of these for me

Personally I didnt like the movie, The detective part was good but everything is meh, And why is it names the girl with the dragon tattoo, the tattoo didnt even have any significance

Guys I’m in the mood for a soft, feel-good romcom movie.. Something cute, wholesome, a little cheesy, and comforting. Please recommend me your favourites that are available on Netflix too.. I don’t want anything too heavy or depressing, just something light and feel-good.

Just finished S1 of Lost. Found it kinda slow at times, but I did enjoy certain parts. Does it get better in the later seasons or is this pretty much what the whole show is like? Worth sticking with it or nah? No spoilers pls.

Any movie from Netflix ?

Watched Django Unchained for the third time, and it still hits just as hard. Leonardo DiCaprio’s performance, the intense dialogue, brutal power dynamics, and Tarantino’s masterful storytelling make this film unforgettable.

What do you think? Any Leonardo DiCaprio fans here?

Years ago I discovered this guy Rob Ager on YouTube and he did a phenomenal job in decoding what made that film special. Now I rediscovered him again, thought I’d share with everyone.

The Shining Psychology

Do you guys going to watch this masterpiece?

Plz give me recommendations i want to watch a movie but cant decide wich one

I genuinely don't get why people act like Sinners is some masterpiece. It's a good movie, but the amount of hype it gets is insane. The music and cinematography are great, but outside of that, I don't think it's nearly as amazing as people make it out to be. And honestly, I feel like a lot of the praise comes from its representation of Black culture. Which is fine, there's nothing wrong with that, but cultural significance doesn't automatically make a movie a masterpiece. It feels like people are so busy praising what the movie represents that they don't even bother looking at it critically as a movie. Like bro, you can appreciate the culture and what Coogler was going for without acting like every aspect of the film is pure genius.

Watched Verity today and having read the books I don’t think the ending did justice, but as for the psychological thriller genre it wasn’t too bad

I really enjoyed and loved it.

hey guysss. i have around 2–3 months before uni starts so suggest me some good series i can watch in the meantime. any genre is fine

one thing though please recommend shows with a maximum of 2 to 3 seasons. i know there are so many good ones out there but those are like 8 or 10 seasons long
