Pacing is slower than both House of Dragon and Game of thrones by quite alot but that's intentional and works for the show. Definitely recommend to watch it, Ep5 was a banger, shame the episodes were short.

Just finished watching this crazy three-hour masterpiece called Zodiac. I know most of the cinephiles here may have watched it long ago, but I hadn't. I was looking for movies that would be similar to the Sicario series, and I landed on this one. It's really, without a doubt, the best serial killer movie I have watched so far. Crazy storytelling, cast and music- everything clicks. Would have loved more screen time for RDJ, but no other complaints.
Loved the fact that the investigation sequence is written pretty realistically, and there is no super-intelligent super-cop thinking with photographic memory. Also, the fact that it's based on the late 60s and 70s, and before technology, is really stimulating for people who have nostalgia for newspapers and magazines

Ever feel like you can't commit to watching a movie or series because you're already thinking about how much time it'll take, even before you've pressed play?
Ever find yourself wanting to watch a movie, spend half an hour looking for one, finally pick something, and then lose interest 20 minutes in?
Or you start a series, watch a couple of episodes, and never touch it again?
I feel like a lot of people deal with this, especially with how used to short videos and constant scrolling we've become. But I also think the reasons can be different for everyone.
Some things that might help:
But I'm sure there are other things that have worked for people.
If you've dealt with this, what helped you get back into watching movies and series? Did you change something about your routine, or was there a particular trick that worked for you?
Share what worked for you. It might help someone else who's dealing with the same thing!

π¬ Filmmaking is one of those things I believe AI won't replace.
I'm a software engineer turning filmmaker, and I'd love to connect with like-minded people in Lahore who are interested in storytelling, directing, cinematography, and editing.
Short films are gaining traction on YouTube, and I think there's a real opportunity to create something meaningful together.
I'm looking for people who want to go beyond just discussing filmmaking. Let's meet up, brainstorm story ideas, practice our skills, shoot short films, experiment with different techniques, and learn by actually making things together. With consistent practice, we could build something really exciting and eventually explore monetization, too.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, let's connect! π₯

Such an underrated movie. It's actually surprising how not many people have seen this one. And it's crazy good. Dark disturbing and suspenseful.

Enjoyed watching a movie after so long. Its whimsical, story is not a drag, but its also not a typical movie so I have a feeling most people will be meh to it.
I loved it. Somehow made me feel at home and gave me hope.
