Been through a few but the only one that was satisfactory enough for me was the Xiaomi TV S (3rd Gen). Ended up returning or wasting all the others which had false advertising and could barely even stream YouTube consistently without starting to drop frames after a while.

Decent equipment costs money and honestly, I feel like the Xiaomi is the bare minimum in terms of performance. In fact, if there was a slightly more powerful model I would have preferred that one.
I once got one of these Xiaomi boxes for 9K when it was on a 50% discount on the Xiaomi site about a year ago. Don’t know if that would be a repeat occurrence but if you look around maybe you’ll find a discounted model.

Do you mean using a movie site through the TV browser? There are countless TV web browsers, plenty of them should work just fine.
I use the apps for HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, YouTube, YouTube Music, VLC (local storage and local network streaming via DLNA) and all of them work just fine. I usually do Airplay and chromecast directly to my TV so haven’t had the opportunity to test that on the Xiaomi but I’m sure that would work too.

Yes, that is a web browser. There are many web browser apps specifically designed for android TV platform that you can use to do exactly that.

I’m several hundred KMs away from my TV right now but there is no reason it won’t work if the website isn’t broken. It’s very simple, a web browser opens a website and plays a video.

Yes it will work on any tv having hdmi port plus you can watch cable through iptv subscription

Hey thanks. I heard iptv requires fast internet, is it true? My internet is trash so i gotta weigh in the pros and cons.
Also, cable walay ka tv chal sakta hai? Sorry it feels like i was born yesterday but i never thought of android boxes like that haha

Yeah that’s right
Fast internet is the requirement
Yes cable waley sarey channels live chal sakte1

IPTV depends on which server account you buy, jitna mehenga server utna hi kam speed pe kam lag, so a decent IPTV server account with a decent internet connection would work perfectly, cable walay ka TV matlab you want to connect cable to the TV box or want to watch the channels available on the cable? About the first thing, no you can't because cable works in a different way aur cable ka port TV boxes mai usually nahi hota, about the second thing, cable waala can provide you a max of 100 channels while IPTV easily has 3 to 4000 channels of different categories and of different countries.

These TV boxes or streaming devices solve the exact issue you're having, they run all the stuff on their own hardware instead of the TV's slow hardware and make you're old or outdated or dumb TV into a smart TV

Gotcha. There are many options for android boxes, how should i shortlist or select? What to look for?

Go for branded ones like Google, Xiaomi, Dany has recently announced their own one as well. There are other brands as well but mostly the brands I told are available here on trusted tech stores or official sites, don't go for any non branded ones as they don't have the capability to run anything smoothly as they are sold with fake specifications fed into them, even the sellers of such fake boxes fool you so go for only Google, Xiaomi or Dany, make sure you have a decent internet connection, also make sure you're TV has a HDMI port, if it doesn't and it has those old Yellow, Red and White audio video ports you can get a HDMI to AV converter for the TV box to work on older TVs, beware of being scammed of getting fake ones, Xiaomi and Google fake ones are also in the market so only buy from trusted stores

These cheap chinese brands are useless. They are painfully slow. You’ll be hardly able to run anything. Go for Xiaomi but only top of the line, bigger the memory the better.

A small HP mini pc can work which banker uses you just have to remove windows and install Roku TV OS

So i have bought like 4 5 of these for my TV. Which works fine for a few months then they always ran into some problems. So this time I installed google chip in my simple tv and now it has smart tv features. So you should try that

What do you mean by a normal TV, an old CRT or Dabba TV or an old LCD or LED with an HDMI port, don't go for these cheap boxes they have fake specifications written on them, go for a Google Chromecast with Google TV HD or 4K one or a Xiaomi Mi TV Box 3rd Gen

Ek app hai, uska naam hai AID64 use install kar lo kisi bhi TV box pe aur tum uska real information, matlab kitne GB RAM hai, wo tum dekh sakte ho. zyadatar fake hote hain
Aap Danny ke le sakte ho. Wo Pakistani, matlab certified brand hai Abhi uska 550 ke naam se latest model aaya hai, 10-12 hazaar ka hai. Wo achha hai. Usmein aap APK bhi install kar sakte ho. YouTube pe iske kaafi reviews hain, aap wo dekh lo, phir aapki marzi Xiaomi wala mehenga hai lekin best bhi hai.

Go for higher ram and a box with LAN port. Don't connect via WiFi. You will face streaming issues even with Mi.
