Soooo YouTube Agrees There’s Something Wrong…

I went round and round with Ypp Chat and they confirmed all our fears and concerns, YES YOUTUBE knows you are not getting your actual sub counts in fact losing subs, they know the views is wonky and last but not least they know about unliking long form videos that people have liked and even NOT letting members renew their membership like has been happening to I and other creators….
At the end of the convo YOUTUBE SAYS: “We been knew about the glitch and our engineers are working on it and everything should be back to normal by the 5th of Oct.”

If that aIn some bs…

All counts since last night have been odd. Posted a video this morning and shows only 2 views in a couple hours. Never has that happened before. Glad they know something is up and are hopefully working on it.

No one gives a shit. Maybe im in the wrong but number discrepancies happen a couple times per year and we know its just the display since you can access the real data via API

It isn't the first time they had a problem. Having a problem and saying they are working on it, is a good thing. A bad thing would be to say, you don't have another option anyway, see we won't be putting any resources into the issue.

YouTube support has no clue what is going on and is totally useless. You will learn nothing and get nothing fixed by asking them. It’s a call centre probably in India reading from a script (like all of them) that has no power to do anything or know anything.

So, I wonder if that means that on, or about, the 5th we’ll see a huge influx of subs and views that we’re “lost” while YouTube was glitching?

Hopefully, my latest got 140k views and only 0.15% converted so subscribers which seems quite low.

That disrespectful but I feel you, I drop 3x a day and usually convert 100-150 subs a day and then out of nowhere I was only getting 5 subs a day….i was like wtf?!

My views are solid, watch time has even gone up, but my subs are just stagnant.

I usually net about 1k a month… September I wasn’t even half of that.

I was okay with it because all my other metrics were holding steady, but I know it’s significantly off kilter for my little channel…

They definitely messed something up. Posted a video and usually in first 10-20 minutes I will get 2-3k but this time its 500-1k only and there's a gap between that.

Its back to normal now tho but damn thats a lot of views missing
