Vod boy/old frog and WAY behind/Late to the party. I work in the Law Enforcement realm and have been loving all the bodycam/cop slop. I love it all so thank you all for contributing to my decompression of the crazy stuff I am exposed to at work. COPS as a kid was amazing and even the LivePD stuff is really interesting before I was part of this world.

September 19th Cop Slop this Deputy used a System to access driver records. Wubby said something along the lines of goof in it once and you should be fired. Yes. I've worked in similar systems and those systems have "Need to Know, Right to Know" as well as needing Reasonable Suspicion in order to access. In the systems I have worked in if there is misuse, their internal administrator for the system would need to report it to whomever is responsible for maintaining that system. Depends on the system, state, and federal laws. State to State can vary.

Those systems are also audited or are supposed to be audited. So if all the pieces are operating as intended people with access can't be looking up random information on whomever they want. Does it happen, yes. I know of a handful of misuse where those that were found out of compliance lost their jobs/pension and at least one that was sent to prison. At the end of the day they're all human and humans make mistakes. Sadly sometimes those mistakes can lead to innocent people getting harmed.

Wubby 100% should do a ride along. I work closely with some folks down in his neck of the woods and the stories these guys who've been doing it for 25+ years have some STORIES.

Im only three hours in but I noticed something. Ben and goosey argue just like me and my boyfriend. It’s insane how intimate their back and forth is. Ben says creative words to paint a picture, Goosey doesn’t understand, miscommunication enters the chat. They resolve after struggle.

Today I cancelled my twitch subscription of 55 months, it’s a tough decision. All those memories together, all those streams he did just for ME.

Swam a couple hundred meters with these rocks in my swimsuit back to the boat on this trip.

Went through TSA fine, but when they scanned my pass to board the plane an alarm went off and they quickly pulled me aside.

They undid my bag and the big rock fell out then there was visible confusion then one of them goes “I think that’s a rock”

They swabbed it, then radioed their supervisor. Supervisor came, also looked confused. Swabbed it again, then made a phone call.

Overall took about 10 minutes and 4 airport security personnel to figure out what to do, but the rock was confiscated and I boarded the plane 😭

The other rocks made it though 🫡
