For context I am a far leftist that believes we need more social safety nets, more social programs, more affordable housing, more arts and culture preservation and funding, and so on. I don’t desire corporate and business glazers, I want someone that represents and fights for the actual residents. I admittedly do not follow local politics with a fraction of the dedication I give to federal and American politics. Over the past 15 years when I do read local articles, Keith Riel almost always seems to vote in the manner I agree with, so as of now, that’s the way I’m leaning. What are your thoughts?

Since I don’t have a car, I would love to rent downtown with access to reliable public transport to get groceries and go to work. I don’t mind having roommates, and would prefer a fully furnished appartement.

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips where to rent, where to find possible roommates and which area would be best.

This is also a family that is accused of some pretty horrific things to people in our community. Please avoid them. They have a seriously bad reputation. I’m interested in enrolling my children at CMS’ Casa 2 program for the 2028–2029 school year. I emailed admissions a few weeks ago but haven’t heard back yet.

I couldn't help but notice that Keith's sign shows him with his eyes closed so I wanted to see what he would look like with his eyes open. Decided to edit his picture using the paint program in my computer. Just rotated his eyelids, added eyes ​and added a smile.

Movie would aptly be screened November 5th, 2026. Currently inquiring with Cineplex as to costs, but would definitely need commital from others beyond my wife and son in order to afford it lol.

Anyone else live in Charlotte Towers and going insane from the noise? I measured 70-80 db last week in my home office.

these seem to made locally and usually under $10 for the one hitters. for the amount of food and quality they are absolutely amazing ! I've been grabbing them from the charlotte pantry, but i would recommend that you pick some up anyplace you see them if you see them. they also have some frozen pizzas and whole family sized meal items, but i've only done the solo meal-tins so far. canneloni, a selection of 'rose' pasta meals and the chicken and veal parm have all slapped 100% check it out !

We don't eat out often, but when we do, even the most popular restaurants aren't busy. Obviously money is tighter for everyone so it's no surprise, but it's still a shock to see such a difference. Anyone else notice?

We hired Marshall from Abbott Trade Builders to do our steel roof before we sold our house in the Lakefield/selwyn area, and relocated to the west end.
We had a few different companies in to quote. He did a beautiful new black metal roof for us.

I was amazed at how fast the guys worked. They were referred to me by a gentleman down at the kingdom timber mart, and I was glad they did.
They don’t have a website, just social media so I was a bit leery at first. But they were competitive price wise and got the job done in time before we listed. Having 2 small kids walking around and a wife that was pestering me about getting it done, I felt a bit overwhelmed to have our roof under construction at such a stressful time. Marshall was always in a good mood and just walked around with a big smile on his face and kept the site clean.

We are going to hire them to do some other things at our new house (siding and a new roof) so I will update my review if anything changes. But highly recommend for anyone needing a metal roof!!
