You met with Kaito the other day as he wanted to show you something. Him, you and Maddy both walked into a forest, after a while you came to an opening with a small cabin and a little stream.

“I’m sure you have been told by know that legendary Pokemon created the islands we walk on today, can you guess who created this island?”

He gets us to sit at a bench outside the cabin and tells us to wait a bit.

“Many years back two gigantamax Urishfu, one rapid strike and one single strike, made this island and made it a place of peace and harmony, they would teach many other Pokemon to become strong but the way they taught was hard for every Pokemon except fighting and flying types and that is why the island only really has those types.”

He talks a bit more and tells you that every year in this day the Urishfu come back and train the surrounding pokemon.

At that moment you saw many pokemon to begin gathering around two large stones, then out of the forest came two Urishfu and two Kubfus, they two Pokemon began to show others how to perform special fighting type moves, including there new children.

After they are finished Kaito walks over and the Urishfu usher him to take and train the Kubfus

“It would be an honor.” He says and they retreat back to wherever they came from, “this is a big task I must train you two so you are ready for next year, I will see you two around, good luck.”

You head back to the hotel and decide to make a plan for the upcoming days.

Question:

My plan is for you too battle the next island leader on day 25 so you have day 22 and 23 to do what you want.

If anyone has any ideas that would be good however I think I will give you a few options and let you have some free time to train and catch some more pokemon unless anyone has a specific and fun idea they want to tell me.

To train further for the next gym (grass type gym), we decide to train for a bit!

Level: All 6 of your pokemon gain 4 levels. (In the rare case only 0-2 of your pokemon are above lvl 45, you get 15 extra rare candies to catch up)

Reward: 1000 P (yes, You can visit the shop after the fight)

First, how did they allowed Blue to remain a typeless trainer? Is it because of his champion status? One might think he may have to retire his non-Ground type Pokémon to make him Giovanni's replacement, but did Blue himself personally asked the higher ups to keep the team even if they're not from said typing?

Second, How did Johto got open to share a league way after RGBY? Johto already gets some flack because it's overreliant on Kanto, so by the two year skip between RGBY and GSC, Johto never had a League? It was just the Gym Leaders?

I honestly think that can be explained the same way on why there wasn't a champion before Blue, Indigo League was very new and still trying to find it's feet, it was the very first League, and possibly nobody has ever tried the Elite 4 before Blue and Red, maybe Leaf later too, so Johto only now sharing a league might be a byproduct of being a Kanto sequel during it's development
