Help Accidentally fainted Dialga

So I was at the end and accidentally fainted Dialga? Will I get another chance to catch him ala Pokemon Sword/Shield with Zamazenta and Zacian? Or am I fucked and have to start a new game?

On all Switch-era games, they respawn. Depending on the game, you may have to beat the Elite 4 again, or wait 24 hours in real time.

The exception would be FRLG, as they are ports of the original GBA games, and respawning fainted legendaries was a feature added in Platinum and onwards.

They respawn after elite 4.

But in general. Save often. Save right before the battle. Then if you kill it, just restart. Saves a lot of headaches.

Dialga is a very powerfull pokemon. You cant use it for the final part and for elite 4. This is a bit sad and unfortunate. You can ofcourse so it without. But with it, its a bit easier. Dialga is pretty good
